People are going to harp on Lamar a lot, and he didn't play well, but he wasn't alone in sinking the offense.
RR and DF get manhandled on the sack that caused the fumble.
Likely fumbles the ball out of the back of the end zone, ending a possession and netting no points.
Likely gets absolutely rolled on Lamar's interception and allows the tip to happen as Lamar tried to get it out.
Walker pulls up because he fails to track a deep ball that he could walk in with.
Walker fails to make a tough catch deep for six.
Flowers pushes off and the Ravens eventually walk away with zero points rather than a touchdown.
Flowers fumbles the ball.
I'm not excusing that Lamar made some bad throws because he did. He generally looked off and I'd have to think maybe lower body injuries have messed up his mechanics some? I don't know.
But, my point is people will rail Lamar hard, but Lamar still made several plays that should have resulted in six and put the Ravens in a position to win and the offense crumbled around him.
Yes, Lamar was a problem, but he was not the only one.
Also, I've had this thought for a long while now, but are Likely and Bateman really all that or are they beneficiaries of playing Lamar's backyard football? They clearly work really well in tandem with Lamar when he scrambles around and can buy time, but they have been invisible with the offense operating more in structure.
