Ravens Ring of Honor
We have got to make the playoffs this year, the Patriots have beaten nobody, Stroud sucks, we can beat the Bills, Bo Nix sucks, Trevor Lawerence sucks, Daniel Jones sucks, anyone else? Herby?
Hopefully the only guard we need to replace is falafel, if Jones shows he could be the guyravens have a pretty clear pathway to being very competitive in 2026 even if this year goes nowhere
you need to retool the IOL - that might be 1 OG, 2 OG or maybe even 2 OGs and a C depending on what they do with Linderbaum
you need to improve the DL depth and depending on Jones and Madubuike, you might be looking at starters too - completely depends on Madubuike's long-term health what you do here, but if you can pay Travis Jones and you're confident that Madubuike's returning, then you're just looking at depth and maybe adding some young talent to grow behind them and rotate
EDGE - you're looking for a 2nd/3rd pass rusher - mike green looks like the real deal, dre'mont jones looks like a really useful player if you can retain him, Robinson's a good snap eater and run stuffer
TE might need a complete overhaul
WR needs more talent added - some explosion would help
CB needs more talent added, especially if Marlo's moving on
but with lots of draft picks and a decent chunk of cap space, it feels doable that this team can really improve in 2026

Steelers need to just put us out of our misery this week. We are not a team that has any business in the playoffs.
Green is getting a lot of very clean pass rush wins. The sacks will come.Green looks like the real deal? Maybe I missed these sacks
Man this offseason is gonna be something because are we gonna be able to retain both Jones? Having that interior pass-rush is gonna do wonders for Green as he continues to progress. Shit, you mentioned Garrett. Look at those studs he has helping them on that front-7.Green is getting a lot of very clean pass rush wins. The sacks will come.
Myles Garrett has been a low sack total guy relative to his talent level for most of his career until this year, nobody would say he’s anything short of a top 2 pass rusher for his entire career.
Sacks are the ultimate pass rush stat, it’s what you’re aiming for, but it’s certainly not the only stat and you really can’t determine quality pass rush on sacks alone. Sacks are really hard to come by and so many outside factors influence sack totals.

I like Travis Jones, but if the Ravens balked at paying Linderbaum and then handed a premium contract to Jones, I would probably have a mini meltdown.ravens have a pretty clear pathway to being very competitive in 2026 even if this year goes nowhere

I think Linderbaum is being greatly impacted by the inconsistency next to him, and somehow he's still performing like a top 5 C in the league. Unless his price is astronomical, I don't see them moving on from him. They have enough trust in him to take on more 1v1 blocks than I've seen from him in recent years. I think even 1 better G next to him lets him function as he has in previous years.I'm really on the fence with Linderbaum. On one hand he is a young OLine cornerstone for a team still rebuilding up front. OTOH, it feels like his "WAR" would only be worth 18m/yr on a pure zone blocking team like 49ers. Ravens are more gap scheme and I'm not entirely convinced we shouldn't take that 70m+ and do the whole interior OLine guard to guard with it.

Imho.. “ Pressures “is a dumb ass stat ..well atleast what they considers pressures. guys look at stats and see pressures yet the pressure didnt result in a incomplete pass or anything. Lots of pressures dont even be affecting the qb. You got aaron donald and myles garret type pressures, then you got guys with 5 pressures in one game yet you didnt even notice themGreen is getting a lot of very clean pass rush wins. For me, it's more so that they've invested a premium contract into Madubuike already at DT (assuming he's back, as Simba thinks he will be), so spending another premium contract on a defensive tackle feels like a tough pill to swallow. Not to mention, they have premium contracts for Humphrey, Smith, Hamilton, and have first round picks in Wiggins and Starks.I'm really on the fence with Linderbaum. I mean kinda yeah it is, but there are still so many plays where a pass rusher beats their blocker like a drum, but they never had a chance at a sack just because of play design or a failure in the secondary or even a qb just having a clean pocket to step up in.Imho.. “ Pressures “is a dumb ass stat ..well atleast what they considers pressures. guys look at stats and see pressures yet the pressure didnt result in an incomplete pass or anything. Pass rush success can be pretty hard to quantify. Pressures are a goofy stat, and pass rush win rate is more telling, you just really need more than one stat to quantify a pass rusher
I think in today’s nfl the best way to boost your pass rush is pushing the middle of the pocket. Mahomes Allen and Lamar all drop super deep and then climb the pocket, all of them falter when there’s no pocket to step up in.Agreed!!!

I'd be really upset if they let an offensive lineman walk with Faalele being a free agent as well because that'd be likely turnover at the three interior spots.
I want to see the offense get a little bit of love here, too.
