Coaching Carousel 2026

I've been incredibly impressed with how much the Rams have grown their offensive talent. Especially across the offensive line, which currently features a UDFA LT, a 2nd round LG, a UDFA C, a UDFA RG, and a 5th round RT. Obviously so much credit goes to Les Snead and Sean McVay. But I'd like for us to bring in Mike LaFleur for an interview.
This is a great point. He’d bring a bit of staff with him, I’m gonna start looking more into this guy

- The fact Harbaugh wanted to run it back with the same staff is insane. Something needed to be changed after that loss, whether it was Harbaugh, Monken, Orr, something needed to change. Harbaugh being that delusional to think we could have made a run with the same staff sealed his own fate.

- Eric DeCosta feeling a bit of pressure, good. The way this team has been built roster wise, Eric certainly deserved some of the blame for the shortcomings. Especially not investing in our offensive line and defensive line. Also, Maxx Crosby....... YOU ARE A RAVEN!
I think the first point maybe gives EDC some more time under a new HC. JH - We can do it with these guys if we can just_______... I wonder how much influence JH had in the draft room. It seems to me there had been a shift from drafting position players to versatility. Versatility has always signaled to me less competency at a specific position and more of the vague ability to "maybe" do something within a system. I hope they get away from what they've been doing with Hamilton, for example. He's a S and could be a great one, but because he can be versatile, he's been playing a lot of LB. I know this is not the best example because this kind of arose out of necessity, but my point is if they'd draft LB's instead of hybrids that are more DE's than LB's, we'd be better off. I think JH had a big voice in choosing "versatility" over specific positional strength.

Yes Minter makes sense on the surface. That said, I think I'd like to get away from the Harbaugh tree. Start fresh.

Flores would be a good hire, but the lawsuit is a thing.

Think it's safe to say the Ravens go with a coordinator type at HC, rather than CEO, like Harbaugh.

EDC is staying but he’s got the hot seat too based on what I heard. Bisciotti wants to win.
This is the best thing I've heard. Way better than the Harbs news. EDC was in no way deserving of losing his job this year. HOWEVER, he needs to wake up and use the talent and skill he has to make the right team. He got waaayyy too comfortable zigging while everyone was zagging.

I know nothing about this guy. Anyone?

I'm in Houston. Burke took over playcalling for Ryans this year and has done a great job. It's most certainly Ryan's defense and he delegated playcalling but Burke could be a good hire if he can bring the right philosophy with him. From all accounts players like him too. I think there are more proven options available but he is an good under the radar name

I mean, I'm no expert but isn't most of HOU defensive playcalling just "line up and be better than your opponent"?

I love Flores, would prefer him as a DC

I can almost guarantee the next HC will be someone who can inspire the players with a good message but also competent and assertive on a side of the ball. I feel like they will be a younger guy.

Stefanski is someone I could see but I’m really iffy there as it feels like something we wouldn’t want.

Flores is possible and so is Jesse Minter. I think just because Harbaugh was obscure doesn’t mean we will hire another obscure one.

I can guarantee Ozzie and Eric and Sasha are likely working on finding the new HC

Mike McDaniel is still the Head Coach in Miami. Unless us firing Harbaugh is going to make a team suddenly fire their guy to go all in on Harbaugh or something like that. I remember @Simba mentioning that if Lamar had left a couple years ago, we were going to go after Baker. I think Tampa would be the perfect spot for John, Harbaugh then gets to work with Baker in Tampa with that talented team they already have. Plus it's a soft division, and even then Atlanta would also work for Harbaugh. Harbaugh will likely chase the big money from the Giants but I think he'd be better off in Tampa or Atlanta.
Yes, yes I think that message is implying a team without an opening is considering firing their guy to hire Harbaugh. That is precisely it

that interview from earlier in the year with Steve and John

Jesus christ man....Steve lined his ass up

"Versatility" is a jack of all trades and master of none.
