Coaching Carousel 2026

I feel like Brian Flores would be a really good coach here.

The side of the ball that needs the turnaround and new identity clearly is the defense, and that’s a sad state of affairs for the ravens. We can’t have it here.

Flores brings big dog energy that we desperately need, we’ve had a choir boy head coach for so long that our team took on that identity, they got soft, lost their determination, it’s all in gods hands to harbaugh, but no we gotta go out there and fucking take it, Flores brings that.
I like flores alot.. scheme wise, he is great: not sure about adjustments and how he compares to jessie though?

Not at all surprised that John was going to be retained as of this morning. I said this the other day. He doesn't really lose you games. He doesn't really win them for you either. You COULD absolutely win a SB with him. The recipe for that to happen would come from an appropriately built roster and competent coordinators.

Orr was not a competent coordinator. When the defense did what it did vs Buffalo in Week 1, I knew it was over.

Monken was only one notch above Orr. I told y'all you cant win with Monken after his first year!

It was John's inability to actually take the reigns and work towards finding the right coordinators that was his undoing.

But I feel vindicated because I've been saying for years all 3 coordinators are pure trash. Also vindicated that Steve put pressure on EDC. Every single member of the coaching staff and FO has underperformed for quite awhile now.

I know it's been mentioned already, but put me in the camp of going outside of the Harbaugh tree and staying away from Minter. I wouldn't be mad if he got the job, but I also just would love to see something different. A new era of sorts.

Feels like we need offense

This is going to be interesting hiring process but I'm still shocked if it's true that Lamar didn't like Todd Monken.
I should clarify since that's coming from me...

I just don't think they gelled at this stage. No animosity or anything. Just a relationship that had run its course.

I've been incredibly impressed with how much the Rams have grown their offensive talent. Especially across the offensive line, which currently features a UDFA LT, a 2nd round LG, a UDFA C, a UDFA RG, and a 5th round RT. Obviously so much credit goes to Les Snead and Sean McVay. But I'd like for us to bring in Mike LaFleur for an interview.
Doesnt sean mcvay call the plays though? Wouldnt mind him and could possibly be a risk but if we are trying to win now, is that a good idea? The staff he would bring with him would likely be incredible though like joey said. I like klint because he has full control of the offense and sam darnold ass but they make him look pretty good.

1. Klint Kubiak
2. Chris Shula
3. Jesse Minter
4. Mike LaFleur

It would be nice to go outside the Harbaugh tree but then again people would be crazy about Macdonald. If a guy is good then he’s good.

I do think we could do better and I also don’t think we will get a retread. I feel like we will get a guy who is first time HC. I could be wrong but my gut says that’s what we do.

I legit saw lamar say “ let me throw the ball” on a failed 3rd or 4th down early on in the season.. dont know if it meant anything but he was for sure frustrated

I just want the best guy for the job. I'd lean offense if the candidates were close but I'd be open to anyone and everyone.
You guys have only one 1,000 yard receiver this year. The rest I don’t believe even hit 500. You guys need to draft a couple WRs that can stretch the field. I’m not saying this to be insulting but I believe the Ravens need more WRs.

I gave Harbs a lot of shit but it’s commendable how he was able to build a successful scheme around Lamar with Roman and turn a guy that idiots were saying should be a WR/RB in the NFL into a 2x MVP at QB.

Sean McVay missed a game and in that game LaFleur called the plays. They put up 45 points

I mean, I'm no expert but isn't most of HOU defensive playcalling just "line up and be better than your opponent"?
I mean yes the talent on the D is really good. Took some time to build up the identity, which is now the identity for the team. Ideally Burke is able to bring that as a HC. But I also don't think he's the best coaching option out there

JAAM you got your wish. I think Brian Flores would be a good coach.

I can almost guarantee the next HC will be someone who can inspire the players with a good message but also competent and assertive on a side of the ball. I feel like they will be a younger guy.

Stefanski is someone I could see but I’m really iffy there as it feels like something we wouldn’t want.

Flores is possible and so is Jesse Minter. I think just because Harbaugh was obscure doesn’t mean we will hire another obscure one.

I can guarantee Ozzie and Eric and Sasha are likely working on finding the new HC
We need someone thats gonna cut marlon soon as they see him acting weird lol
