"Buffalo cold is different"

Need to tell Likely and Lamar to keep both hands on the ball. Fumble rates almost nearly double once the temperatures are below 10 degrees
Likely has great hands, and only 1 fumble on the year. Lamar will be hyper focused on taking care of the ball.

yep, agree he isn't playing.

The Bills are susceptible against the run and an especially power football (22 and 23 personnel) They tend to play base nickel and don't really match up. They can also be beaten horizontally with Jet Sweet and Jet Dive as the Rams and I believe the Chiefs also took advantage of them in these situations. Bills didn't face much zone read all season long and may not be that prepared for it either.

Defensively we need to play like we have been playing since week 11 and Stephens needs to man up.
BS is who he is. Last season I thought he turned the corner and was on his way to become the next Ravens great CB. Boy was I fooled. Damn near always in a position to make a play, but either doesn't turn his head or just panics.

Yeah the only reason I bring this up is because of his catch last week when he was being tackled he had it far out in his left hand while trying to push the defender with the other

lol... right. He was channeling some Ed Reed vibes. Scary and yeah, don't do that again. Or at least wait until next season!

Remember week 4 when Josh made some magic happen with that sideline bomb to Shakir? Well if you watch again, the three players anywhere even close to Shakir....

Eddie Jackson
Marcus Williams
Brandon Stephens

So we will know who to blame this time around
For sure lol.

Now being serious for a second. This team has Hamilton and Ardarius back there. It also has a far more mature version of Nate Wiggins. Furthermore, Trenton Simpson was a starter at that point and has been replaced by Malik and CJ. That's truly a lot of improvements for our defense.

Then on offense, I believe we've hadn't even solidified the Roger and Mekari positions. And certainly Faalele is playing much better today than at that time.

I'm certainly not overconfident, but I feel like the type of teams that can beat us are the ones with TWO top end WRs and a competent RB and competent defense. Buffalo has a lot, but they don't have multiple elite WRs.

Every team that has beaten us this year has a game wrecker on the defensive front (Jones/Crosby/Watt/Garrett/multiple Eagles). That's another thing about this Buffalo defense that doesn't convince me; who scares you? Really, who scares you on this defense? They have a half dozen very solid guys but not a single player you actually have to redesign your offense for.

They love their boy Milano, Ro is younger and better. I'm taking Mads & Jones over Oliver and Da'Quan any day of the week. At this point in their careers, KVN > Von Miller. Rosseau and Oweh I guess are a wash. They are so proud of NB Taron Johnson, Hump is way better. Rasul Douglas and Taylor Rapp would be rotational guys here.

Hopefully the defense starts fast. One thing that scares me is falling behind early and then Monken abandons our identity as a run first team

Straight facts. And so I say again, this is a totally winnable game. We still may lose, but if we do it will be for precisely any combination of these four known potential issues.

Brandon Stephens is targeted relentlessly and we do nothing to help the biggest liability on defense.

Lamar has a total meltdown and starts playing hero ball leading to fumbling or throwing picks.
This one usually happens because we don't call running plays.

STs just shits the bed. Muffled punts, missed FGs etc.

Super undisciplined play. False starts on Mekari. Holds on Faalele. PI on Humphrey and Stephens. These things taking points off our board and adding points to theirs.

Any one of those things can happen and allow this team of lesser talent to win a home game.

Brandon and White being targeted consistently on vertical routes. If im the Bills that would be my MO until those guys prove they can find the ball and avoid penalties
