Woa maan, I've been away for such a long time. My routine has entirely killed my social life, with at least 14 daily hours out of home.
Now I come in here and see this site rocking it. Man, amazing job. Looks great. Congrats to all those involved
Totally agree with Allblack up here. Ridley looks like the only great, sudden route runner (who can play in and outside) worth a top 20 pick.
Honestly, Sutton has the measurables, the physicality to go up for contested catches, but he's a low 1st rounder in my eyes. He doesn't have a lot of explosiveness nor top end speed. He also faced a ton of zone defense so that helped him get separation. As an eventual #1 WR he will go against opponents top CBs and I'm not sure you can consiser him your first read. He's kind of like Doctson but without the very good vertical.
If there's a receiver who's great at adjusting to every single over/under thrown ball and you can definitely trust in 1 on 1 situation that's Steve Ishmael. I love him and I'm not sure he'll still be there when we pick in the second round.
However, there's plenty of great potential at WR in round 2, although with experience or role limitations.
First that comes to mind is Equanimeous St Brown. QB play was abysmal and I wonder why the heck would ND constantly use him as a safety blanket on cross routes or on quick screens. He's a polished route runner and a huge target. Just run him corner-post or post-outs. He'd do great imo.
Another one who's been killed by his own QB play was DJ Moore. God the guy is so underrated. Looks so much like Jarvis Landry. He and Deontay Burnett are the perfect resemblance of the NE kind of receivers. Very good prospects and I really like them (Moore better) but I wouldn't love them as Ravens picks as we desperately need someone to compensate what we already have in Maclin, Campanaro.
My fav picks would be St Brown/Ishmael in the 2nd, or Jester Weah in the 3rd.
