2026 Offseason Thread

I could absolutely see Humphrey cut this season, but it's also possible they restructure him if Minter wants to keep him. I'm aware that the 19.2m is what he is scheduled to make though. We save 7m cutting him and that savings may not be enough for them to outright get rid of him either, especially being one year removed from All Pro.

I don't think Ro is going anywhere, but yes he's in the same position.
A restructure without a paycut would require an extension, unless they're planning to add even more $ into his void years. He's already got nearly $12M in dead $ in 2027 if he's not on the roster then.

Dont know if this was mentioned but drake maye took diggs and hollins to the superbowl. Both allen former teammates. Not only that, he had a great season with only 1 other probowler. Its crazy, that josh allen now needs weapons, yet maye took his two former wideouts to the superbowl. Allen was praised for having like 1-2 probowlers and it was one of the big reasons why he won mvp so they say.. why isnt the same thing said for drake maye?

Take is a strong word but I get what you are saying

I understand that as well. I can read overthecap and spotrac also. It all depends on what they want to do with him.

it really was wild that Lamar didnt win MVP last year lol
had a historic season but lost to Allen just because he was "due" and because James Cooks and that OL are clearly a bunch of scrubs lol

I think it is, right? Isn’t Maye the favorite for MVP?

i dont know how it could be anyone other than Stafford...
would be wild if the MVP wasn't 1st team all-pro 2 years in a row (and both times they would be wrong to change their vote)
It should be Stafford. Though I believe there hasn't been an MVP who wasn't one of the top two seeds in their own conference since 2012 (Adrian Peterson).

I actually like bate. I wouldnt be surprised it be went elsewhere and ball out

i do think that any new coach should look to weaponise him more in the quick game

zay's a target monster in the run-extension game like screens etc. but bate's so good in the short and intermediate when he gets to use his CoD and ability to throttle down - like having bate run a 6 yard out should be so easy - just dont think he's integrated into the offence with early reads enough

especially with how much lamar hits zay in the second phase of a play, if you can build in read structures that hit Bate early in the play on slants or quick outs

Ravens may need to just go on a heads and trade Bateman. Bro ain't never happy and his inconsistent hands along with Zay inconsistent hands probably just don't match well.
I like Bateman as a player, but with a new coach it could be a good idea to do a soft reboot of the team. Get what we can for anyone that is underperforming or seemingly disconnected from the team. Fully remove the complacency that came with Harbaugh.

if you take that approach then you're basically putting your team in a position where it's not going to be the best version of itself in 2026

tough route to take given some of the players on the roster... you probably shouldnt have re-signed Andrews and you might as well get rid of Derrick Henry
