2026 Offseason Thread

Told y'all it was wait and see mode

(I have no idea if it's actually related but it would be so bold to fuck with us with a tweet like that)

I think we need to keep Marlon Humphrey. Cutting him and saving 7m plus having to replace him isn't beneficial. He was a 1st team All Pro in 2024 and I'd suspect he will fit in with Jesse Minter well. It would be more beneficial for the Ravens to just let his contract expire at the end of the 2027 season if we don't want to bring him back. He has 3 void years starting in 2027 and there is no need to do a june 1 and increase the 11m dead cap in 2027 on Humphrey.

That beign said, I think he fits very well with Minter and I've also heard from Zrebiec that they have reached out.

Grain of salt, but my guy has said they are highly intrigued by the possibility of Trey Hendrickson. They know pass rushers like that don't come to be available on the open market often. It would obviously take a few deals falling into place (Lamar, Linderbaum, etc.) to make it work but they aren't saying no at this stage.

And neither are @JAAM and I.

that would be intriguing and I've seen that in the rumor mill but hearing it from your guy is even better

I saw this somewhere else but hearing it coming from your guy is giving me a half-mast. :)

I lay no claim to any sadness if it doesn't happen. A Lamar deal is basically a necessity for it even to be an option. But the interest is there. We'll see how realistic it actually is.
