Coaching Carousel 2026

Stacey Dales confirms what we basically already knew..... Klint Kubiak will be named the Raiders Head Coach in the coming days. That will close out all the Head Coaching Openings for 2026!

Watching MacDonald coach you realize he is a defensive genius ,
Great coach

Everyone knew he was a much better coach than Harbs. Sad.

Turnovers, not the coaches lost the game for the Ravens in the AFCCG against the Chiefs.

Both can be true. The Ravens’ super power was to run the ball and they abandoned it from the second drive. Only 6 carries by running backs all game.

Ravens had 3 turnovers and what 7-8 drops? They didn’t deserve to win with how they played, both coaching and how the players performed. But you can argue some of those mistakes might not have happened if they had answers with the play-calling. The players were playing desperate after the 2nd drive.

You notice how when passing wasn't working for Seattle, they started using this crazy concept of running the ball? Weird... lol

Now he's NYs problem

It's not really weird giving that Klint Kubiak was the OC. He comes from a offensive philosophy that was more disciplined with sticking to the run..if Todd Monken was the Mike MacDonald OC I'm sure he would have had the same tendencies to stick with the pass if Mike MacDonald was the big difference then he wouldn't have fired his previous OC

Agree. I don't have a big problem with Monken but I don't know what happened that game. That also doesn't excuse the players errors either. Both deserve a large share blame for what should have been our SB year.

Well, the Seahawks didn't play peak Mahomes/Reid either. They got the Rams, who outplayed them twice before, playing a 3rd straight road game.

I'm still not convinced the Hawks would have been more than borderline top 5 team most years.

#1 DVOA both offense and defense
Defense absolutely unquestionably elite
OPOY at WR
One of the best WR2s in the league this year
strong OL
Strong run game

There aren’t any seasons since 2020 that this Seattle team wouldn’t have been a top 3 team in the league. They would’ve been in the mix with the best teams every year.

Obviously anybody who wants to defend them will have a strong case with the DVOA. But I just don't know how any hard core football fan can agree. The defense was good talent and great scheme and it showed up just about every time they went against an actually good qb. Stafford carved them up, Baker carved them up. There's just no way you can convince me this defense was actually better than Denver or especially Houston.

Only 1 player on the entire team you really had to scheme for and it was a wr. Sam Darnold led the league in To's before his lucky playoff run. Again, good scheme, solid not spectacular running game...

I see a legit top 3 defense and a borderline top 10 offense with an average Qb. Congrats to them, they played their asses off, forced the the better rams to play 3 straight on the road and made them pay for it. In a year with no other juggernauts that was all they needed. The Patriost they faced might have been a weaker SB team than the '85 patriots.

Their running game is great and with Charbonnet in, it is actually spectacular. It's the reason why they could play safe with Darnold - they almost forbid him passing anywhere closer than 2 yards from the cover.

No idea who will call the plays after Kubiak and whether they'll resign Walker, so it can go downhill quickly.

Maybe I'm selling the running short, but is either of those backs a top 10 rb? Not a single OLineman in the pro bowl either (maybe Cross was robbed? maybe). Really good running game, gotcha, i don't think it's on par with running games we've seen the last few years in Philly, baltimore ,SF or even Detroit. And if i'm selling the running game short let's not oversell Kupp's 593 yds as the only viable option in the passing game outside Njigba.

Again, I think it was a legit top 3 defense, offensively they only looked great in the most horrible year for offenses the league has seen in while. Put it together and it's the kind of team that usually caps out at 4th-6th in power rankings.
