Is Tee Martin considered a bad hire though?

I don't think every hire was bad, but didn't think a lot of his moves were "forward thinking". I'll say lately the staff got raided so that's not all his fault.

I actually feel bad for giants fans right now. They see it happening, they’re already becoming aware that it’s a problem, but also I’m not sure they understand how hilarious this is based on his last stint here which was nothing short of a fucking catastrophe. And they probably don’t know JUST how stubborn he is and how long he’s willing to go this route.

Their FO deserves everything they got coming to them for giving him the reins like this.

Shows we should have moved on from several years sooner. 2018 was perfect since we missed the playoffs 3 straight years, and we drafted Lamar so it made sense to have a new Head Coach when drafting a new Quarterback. Still think after 2021 with the injuries and everything, was another year to just start fresh instead of keeping Harbaugh. Giants fans are in for one hell of a rude awakening with Harbaugh and his buddies as their new coaching staff.

Make sense to me. He's likely the best run game coordinator and he's knows how to maximize offense around a mobile quarterback. I think the giants offense could be fun to watch if Nagy and Roman can successfully collaborate

I might be in the minority here but Roman as a RGC is a good hire imo. That dude is a mastermind when it comes to the run game. He just struggles to design and call a pass game.

With a lot of these new coaches, I know nothing about so I start by asking AI a few questions. Here is what I found for Lou Esposito. It’s a decent list of guys that show not only an eye for talent but an ability to develop players too.

Esposito is credited with developing numerous All-Americans and NFL draft picks, particularly during his time at Michigan and Western Michigan.

If it was anyone other than Harbaugh doing this it would be great. Greg Roman very well might be the greatest pure run game coordinator of all time and that’s not an exaggeration.

The problem with John harbs making this hire though, is by mid 2027 they’re gonna be months into hitting a wall and harbaugh is gonna fire Nagy and promote Roman to save his own ass, and they’re gonna rinse and repeat.

It’s hilarious that John harbaugh made the hire, but yes Greg Roman is a savant in his own way. Nobody is fucking with him when it comes to the power run game
