The Stout, the Defense, and the Offence

Lamar, we all see what's happening. I know you aren't going to say but clearly something is wrong beyond the fact we need to execute.
 
Hopefully we catch the lightning at the right time because you’ve seen shades of what we can be all season long but none of the pieces have come together at the same time.

Felt the play calling was good today while the execution was lacking on offense.

I like the pass rush we’re generating finally but needed to tackle and finish plays.

As usual, a W is a W. And that’s all we need in whatever this AFC is this year.

This might be very premature, but I don't know if KC makes the playoffs this year. They haven't looked good in most of the games they've played and they don't have a lot of wiggle room. There final stretch of games is harder than ours
 
Apparently Lamar had two very heavy tape jobs on both of his ankles and is basically playing crippled.

Im not so sure we should not have played Huntley today and saved Lamar for the Bengals.

Just generally, I don’t see a team to be scared of and I don’t see why anyone would be scared of us. There’s no dominant team. Perfect reason why you just have to get to the dance and see what happens. Fuck what other teams are doing. Just have to control what we can control.

I don't think we're in position to sit Lamar unless he physically can't go.

I generally think somehow we could still end up in the Super Bowl because of this. As you said, just get to the dance and see what happens. Look at 2012, remember the iconic photo of Flacco face planted on the ground? Who would have thought we were going to be Super Bowl Champs a couple months later? We just need Mama Jackson to get on Lamar again and tell him to start running again, it worked last year.

This mini bye we are going to get after Thanksgiving could be very good for Lamar.

Bengals win would be huge. Cushion in division and extended rest with the schedule getting tougher.

Buying us time for Jones to steal that RG spot
 
We just look so flat for a team with so much OFF talent. Bill Cower on the halftime show said he thinks Lamar has an injury. Idk, but there were many series where I really wasn't even sure what they were trying to do.

On another note, if Joe Burrow returns on Thursday what is the possible pay off for them? Why would they risk further injury or a recurrence when they are cooked.

He didn’t looked pained at all when running, just slow and tentative. More like he.’s been in a funk the last couple of weeks.
