The Stout, the Defense, and the Offence

Stout with 2 mega punts! Probably the MVP of the game in a gritty, horrible field-position game.

Defence was solid outside of one horrible drive where they all forgot how to tackle.
Some of the blitzes on key 3rd downs are becoming a little predictable.

Hopefully Hamilton is ok.

Offence was completely out of sync. Redzone issues persist. Lamar looked out of sorts - still clearly hampered with something. Passing game is really missing some explosion.

Lots to work on.

But we're still at a point in the season where we can't really quibble with how the wins come.

Our defense within the past several weeks has basically had a complete turnaround. Facing lesser offenses helps, but the rookies having been coming on. And I love the wrinkle of explosion that Keaton Mitchell adds, especially while Lamar is clearly not 100% as a runner. It has helped subsidize that gap.

This team needs to stop playing with its food in the first half. Come January we can't waste half a game and hope to win, especially with Lamar clearly dealing with a lingering injury

This may have been the most I've seen of Mike Green so far this year. That jersey flashed throughout the game.

I hope we have something cooking for the red zone plays for these games coming up that we don't want to show (other than Andrews taking the snap). Because between runs through the middle, no open receivers and dropped balls, this isn't a pro offense.

Too many missed tackles last two games.

Stout earned a second contract.

Hamilton injury is a worry with the bungles coming up.

And what the fuck was that last drive??? From the 10.

I bet Hamilton misses the Thanksgiving game.

Offense was garbage in the first half. Somewhat found its groove in the 2nd half, but our RZ woes are seriously woeful. It's not gonna get better either. Defensively, not a great game. Pretty good, but a few times leaving Metchie wide open and missing some easy tackles. Nice to see the almost-sacks make a return!

OUTSTANDING game from Stout.
