Next Up: Bye Week

I hate the play at the goal line, especially when it’s someone other than the QB under center. All 11 D can just sell out and crash the middle. At least if the QB runs the play they have to respect that he may not run the sneak.

Doesn’t matter bc they will run the TE with a line as week as that one.

Hoping we are looking for Lamar to practice tomorrow rather than the following Wednesday. The comeback almost has to start with The Bears. They went to Washington and made all kinds of mistakes. Penalties, blocked kick, dropped ball, pass that should have been picked. No turnovers and outgained the commanders. Williams threw for big chunks and their run blocking was visually special. They are on a 3 game win streak and have a new coach. If they tighten things up a bit they could be a load. Let's hope the saints work them and Lamar practices resume this week. Anyone hearing anything about his practice return?

If lamar hamstring is messed up, our run game gonna take a hit. Teams likely to not even me worried if lamar gonna run as much during the handoffs.. shit the run game been took a hit anyway.. yea man we can cancel christmas this season

There's no official practices until next Wednesday, so I wouldn't expect to hear much, if any, injury updates for the next week or so.

He seems like the only guy thats gonna be available whose worth getting anyway.. sign him through 2027 and if that dont work out, go and get kyle shannhan
Yeah so pretty much no HC candidate is going to sign a two year deal. That's practically unheard of. The standard for pretty much any new hire is 5 years, and some go longer.

I don’t remember the Ravens ever having a bad defense. Well maybe that 2007 season but even that year they almost beat the undefeated Patriots or would have if the officiating wasn’t horrendous. They at least exposed the Pats weaknesses which led them to losing the Superbowl to the Giants. Anyway the Ravens never have a bad defense. This year injuries is taking a toll.

With some of the comments being made by the tea. I'm honestly worried that this team fucks around and makes it into the playoffs and that saves Harbaugh and Orr's asses for another season

Normally I'd agree, but then I see friggin' Baker & the Bucs at the top of the power rankings and Danny Nickel's colts atop the AFc and think, wait a sec, hell yeah give me a shot at THOSE playoffs.

It was pretty bad last year first half too

the issue is not that this team can't turn it around
but more that 1-5 is a massive massive hole to pull out of - 3 wins behind the 7th seed already

Concur. Anything less than 10-7 is a wrap. And ideally, neither of these losses can be to the Steelers. Already lost H2H matchups against the Texans and Chiefs (I think KC wins the division).

I don't think the 7 seed is even possible this year due to the wild card. We aren't beating out loser of pats bills or loser of colts / jaguars, and that leaves 2 afcw teams and the Texans who have a tie breaker over us as teams we literally can't topple. Truly our only path is the 4 seed in the north and the Steelers will likely go 10-7 or 11-6, I really can't see it going any different with there schedule and that's best case for us.

We'd have to basically win out and sweep pit, which we have never done with Lamar outside of 2019. If a healthy Lamar on a stacked ravens team hasn't won in Pittsburgh, what's this group of morons going to do

Any other year I'd agree with you but I look at this team and it's so poorly coached that I just can't imagine us beating any teams in the playoffs. Right now we aren't better than the Jags, we aren't better than the Pats, we aren't better than the Broncos and chargers. What is the point of making the playoffs just to add another lose to Lamar's playoff record?
