The only "silver lining" I get from this is we see more of Peebles. We had some good fortune last season by staying healthy for the most part, but unfortunately, you can't keep relying on that season in, season out. I've accepted that he's gonna be out for a good period of time.

Last time we made the playoffs when facing the NFC North was 2009. Although my expectations is at least the AFCCG, I have had a very bad feeling about this season for months because of this fact.

Definitely not sounding good for Madubuike, but fingers crossed the second opinions are better news even though it feels like that's rarely the case.

But definitely a weaker defensive team this week (at least) without him and Van Noy. Guessing Ojabo is active and Urban is elevated in their places.

So should be Madubuike, Van Noy, Likely, Ricard, Mitchell, Vinson, and probably one of the DBs inactive with Urban and Mitchell-Paden elevated. Or they may move Madubuike and/or Van Noy to IR and just move Mitchell-Paden to the 53.

I didn’t like the sound of that update at all either. If we lose him for the season we are in trouble on defense, EDC has to cook. Can’t keep letting these years slip away
