Next Up: vs. Lions

I didn't realize it was neck related for Madubuike. We need Padlock Peebles to shut down their passing attack.
 
Our defense is gonna be rough for a while after losing BK but when starks, green, Buchanan, and peebles all get comfortable in the pros, I think we’ll see a noticeable improvement. All of them have looked solid, they are still adjusting to the speed of the game, but let them settle in and let the coaches figure out how they work best.

This draft class really has a ton of potential and we’re already seeing significant snaps from all those guys.

Brent urban is not to be slept on, he’s got fresh legs and when he’s not being just solid he’s making plays, I’m very comfortable with Broddy getting more reps, and I’m fired up to see what Travis jones can do with an expanded role, likely taking some of BKs duties on third down

But definitely a weaker defensive team this week (at least) without him and Van Noy. Guessing Ojabo is active and Urban is elevated in their places.

So should be Madubuike, Van Noy, Likely, Ricard, Mitchell, Vinson, and probably one of the DBs inactive with Urban and Mitchell-Paden elevated. Or they may move Madubuike and/or Van Noy to IR and just move Mitchell-Paden to the 53.

just seems crazy that there's no obvious play or cause for madubuike's injury

Pretty confident Urban plays really well. And would be great if all the rooks you mention take the next step, they certainly have the ability to do so.
 
Guys... we might be the best team in the league. Have to prove it on the field but this week has been... revealing
 
I’m really looking forward to Lamar getting another shot on a big stage tomorrow night. I think he’s gonna have a statement game, and our offense as a whole, our defense might be a total clusterfuck, and I think we have a shootout tomorrow, but I think our offense is gonna be fireworks. Feel like they got the pass game cooking for real this year.

I hope its not a shoot out… we are basically less likely to create turnovers than anyother team! Might need to keep lions offense off the field as much as possible
