Next Up: vs. Lions

Heres the thing, Im old too but if i get hyped up while the game is playing and theres no way i get to sleep right after the game. Its more like 1:30 am or so. Too much adrenaline i think.
The next day is terrible and i have things to do early in the morning.
That’s my problem. I can stay up and watch the game no problem. But I’m not a settle in and go right to sleep type of guy. I need to relax and build into it and this team is anything but relaxing to watch.

Exactly my thoughts. Night games suck! The exception is Thanksgiving, perfect way to top off the day, and that Friday is always a throw away anyway.

You'd think Monday mornings (early window) would be great for me. Early season from 5am, goes to 7am by the time everybody sorts out DST. Trouble is - Sky covers all English Premier League matches, there's always something to watch from Sunday midnight all the way through to NFL kickoff time. I'm a wreck by SNF kickoff.

when i was in NZ last christmas, was a wild time watching the ravens:

arrived in christchurch, got to where we were staying and the ravens were playing live at 10:30am while i was trying to overcome the jet lag

felt even weirder watching the ravens texans live at 10:30am on the Thursday morning (boxing day) in queenstown in the middle of summer

was weird trying to work out how (and when) to watch the browns game the week after on the plane home too

Yeah he feels 50/50 for mnf.
It's kind of crazy how we have put up 40 points in both games this season and that's WITHOUT contribution from Andrews or Likely. Tight End is such a big part of what we do, but we've kind of transitioned to a team more focused on the wide receivers.

I think we'll win by a decent bit. I don't have a lot of faith in Detroit's defense ability to really stop us from doing much of anything. I think they'll have some success on offense, but I think we'll win by 10-13 points or so.

Stereotypically, Jared Goff playing outdoors on the road is a good thing for the team he's playing.
I agree - I think it's a game that they are up or is close for the first ~20 in a back and forth but then they never stop us after that.

Think Bucs or chargers last year type.

I was super jealous of east coast time games back in HS and college as at a bar during a football game felt elite - especially if you watch west coast games that start at 10pm est like mariners dodgers. But now working I have no envy. 10 am still sucks though as I love to stay up late and sleep in on weekends. I had a flight back to La last Sunday and got home at 7 am, slept for 2 hours and popped up for ravens browns.

we've also not been efficient on a drive by drive basis - lots of 3 and outs, lots of inefficient plays, but so many explosive plays that we still score a lot of points

if this OL can gel and the 12 personnel package can help us in the run game too then we'll have a dynamic and efficient offence again - right now we don't have the ability to dink and dunk and win on long drives with any sort of consistency
