benjamin allbright saying it might be 2 dozen women when it's all said and done...

with how critical harbs was of deshaun watson, how can it be anything other than hypocrisy to not only keep him but to have kept him this long already...

if harbs made those comments about deshaun while knowing what tucker had done that's outrageous hypocrisy
Well, again, a) I don't think they give a fuck about hypocrisy, because fans move on from this shit within like 24 hours and b) there is literally no position they can take that doesn't come with a mountain of both public scrutiny and high risk.

Honestly right now these are allegation. We don't really know if it's true. I never really known Benjamin Allbright as being a reliable source. If the ravens cut or release every player that has been accused of something with out it being proven true then it probably wouldn't be fair. Theres legit information out on the web that Stefon Diggs slept with Cardi B while she was pregnant and even allegedly tried to force some guy into having sex with him. Sounds wild but I don't really know if that's true or not.

I actually agree with you on point 2 here

They have a guy with no criminal wrongdoing per the law with a very firm denial and cutting him says you don’t believe him

If it is true, they’ve also very likely known and covered it up and cutting him now just says you cut him because he got caught, not because you believe in being a good person

They brought it on themselves and deserve the heat if it ends up being true - both sides

Just addressing the Allbright part - he is super plugged in

So I've not seen anything yet that says "covered up". Covered up implies that the organization took steps to make sure nobody knew or hid it from authorities.
At best they knew and didn't take any "action" on it (which I'm not really sure what they can do honestly) and didn't disclose it to anybody (law enforcement, the public, etc.), which I'd argue they're under no moral obligation to do as the employer. Especially without concrete evidence.

Maybe cover up is a bad choice of words, I can agree with that.

Moreover it’s that they’ve publicly condemned these types of activities yet actively knew about a player engaging in such activities.

Maybe nothing legally wrong, but morally, it’s a tough look.

So I'll avoid going off on a huge tangent here about how truly hypocritical the public (fans in this case) are in general, but i'll say this in situations like this, because there's too many of them:

If you're the kind of person who spends more time condemning and discussing the people who "knew about something bad but didn't take whatever arbitrary steps you decided" rather than the person who, you know, actually commits the acts, you're probably not even remotely qualified to be lecturing, or even having an opinion, on anything remotely involving morals, ethics, and integrity. Its a bad look on that person also.

Justin Tucker is the problem. Harbaugh isn't. Steve isn't. At some point in time people decided that blaming bad people for bad things happening wasn't enough. Which is very fucking odd from a morality standpoint in my opinion.

Output is more important than optics.

The problem I have with these allegations is the fact the alleged incidents happened what 9 to 12 years ago !!
Why did they surface now.?
That’s a decade ago !!!!!

Smells fishy to me .

I don’t disagree. If the allegations are true, Tucker should absolutely pay the price. It’s on him. He’s the one that did it.

At the same time, I don’t think that absolves the Ravens either. Again with the assumption that it’s true, they made some terrible choices along the way too.

Someone was willing to talk. All it takes is 1 and it can unravel everything.

I mean both things can be bad simultaneously

Just for some positivity somewhat related...

I've heard that considering where Lamar comes from and the people he grew up with, that guy is as clean as a fucking whistle
I know someone that use to speak to him often and this is very true.. lamar slick and private though.. people still fuck up but ive heard he just a well rounded dude

The woman who accused the Duke Players of rape came out last year and said she made it up. She falsely testified to it and ruined those player's lives. For all we know, we could all have egg on our face for making fun of Cleveland if it came out the Watson stories were made up or that the Tucker story was made up. We got to let the legal system run its course before accusing anyone of guilt... never mind this is America and that's exactly what we do lol.

Those dudes whole life fucked up cause of her. No matter what people will still see them as rapists..Even if tucker and watson stories are true which they probably are, idk..i dnt remember reading that they raped anyone. Certain shit stick with you forever regardless if its true or not and if you didnt rape anyone that term shouldnt be used to against you..
