2025 Offseason Thread

Clarifying that I have 0 knowledge on this one...

But I would be shocked if EDC isn't at least considering the possibility of Ramsey. That is 100% the type of move he loves to make, money be damned.
He probably is considering it, but I hope not.

Ramsey's still pretty good but he'll want a lot of money. (Remember the Brinks truck?) I think that money would give us a bigger return if spent closer to the lines of scrimmage on a pass rusher, DT or Guard.

We already have 2 stars and 2 potential stars in our secondary. We also have a lot of draft picks to fight it out for the outside corner role - someone will emerge. All we need to do is make sure there isn't a glaring hole (probably with a vet Safety) and it will be a really good unit.

I'm not saying I disagree. This team has always loved them some premiere players right toward the end of the line though. Just checks out that there would be legit interest based on history.

I could see Ramsey playing safety and moving around much like he did at FSU if he was on the Ravens
He’d be a primary corner so that Hamilton and Humphrey can play their multiple roles, Hamilton can bounce from nickel to dime to safety freely, humph can bounce inside and out and blitz, and Ramsey and Wiggins are primarily outside, while Ramsey and Humphrey both can kick inside and take on a nickel role.

I’m getting hard at the idea of Ramsey with this ravens roster no homo

Last season he wasn't quite as good on the outside and there was talk of him moving back to Safety. If he goes to the Rams (as he probably will) they'll probably use him in their star position as a sort of cross between Marlon and Kyle.

Having said all that, no doubt he'd still be really good on the outside for us.

Absolute sex

I don't like the sound of Oweh at 265 lol
Same, he’s not a DE or an edge rusher in my book, he’s a classic 3-4 OLB who excels in setting the edge, pursuing in space, and stunting.

Oweh after a loss of speed sounds like a straight up liability, if he can’t harass skill players in space and chase shit down between the hash and the sideline then he doesn’t really offer much
