This shit is why I don't like going to play at Buffalo. We may have to beat the refs too!

Yes. No one questions that it is effective. But if he occasionally had a "lead blocker" TE on the designed runs, whose job is to be a target on the side if Lamar pulls it from Henry and runs, then you have someone already 5 or so yards farther down the field, who is built to take more hits. They can occasionally turn that RO run into a pass instead. He can mix that up rather than pulling it from Henry and running 8 or so plays in a row.

No one wants Lamar to stop running because it's ineffective. We want him to stop taking so many hits so he lasts through the postseason.
