Week 8: Lamar, Our Hands, and The Coaching

I have no illusions of Orr improving. Maybe in a few years but sure as shit not on time for us to go deep in playoffs. No excuses like Humphrey and Nate being out or Pierce and Urban getting injured - it was the same crap with them on the field.

Are our returners taught to fair catch that close to the goal line? I mean what's the worst that can happen if they let it go and and see where the bounce go?

O line again exposed by a solid front / pass rush. KC, Raiders, now this. Feels like Monken tends to get too cute vs good defenses.

Fixing a D by far most important job. Don't care who but Orr should go. The sooner, the better if want a fighting chance of making it.
Fucking THANK YOU. I got eviscerated by this board when I said the following after the AFCG. I said Monken freaks out when playing against good defenses and he gets extremely cute. Those plays have universally been to our detriment. I said harshly that's not the kinda guy who can win you a SB.

He did the same thing today. I don't see it changing. You are who you are when you're jn your mid 50s.

You may not feel as strongly as I but thank God someone else can see it

He's a huge reason for the loss

He’s not the reason Bateman dropped that ball.

He’s also not the reason Nelly dropped the ball either.

Out execution is shitty, did he get a little cute today? Sure. But guys have to make plays.

Don’t even let me get started today on the drops from our defense

We’ve played one good defensive game all year against Buffalo and even then we tried to fuck it up and they just out-stupided us
I think this is the frustrating thing. We played so damn well that game as a unit - both execution and attitude. Saw what we could be and it just isn't happening.

I've had it with Orr. I'm done with him.

It still amazes me how shitty our record is when Tucker misses a kick. He makes that kick, we're well in FG range and prolly win 30-29.

The pass catchers (minus Andrews and Likely) owe Lamar an heartfelt apology. The secondary should give up their game checks. Fucking disgusting.

In terms of drops, this game was WORSE than the Steelers game last season. The team as a whole let Lamar down.
Also, watch the media give Lamar shit. I'm sure he wished he had that overthrown pass to Zay back because that's a TD.

I blame Harbs for putting a not ready Orr in this position when he clearly isn’t ready. This is on Harbs

Well at least we got this game out of the way this year. Before it was the Lions and Steelers with almost double-digit drops so we knew it had to happen sooner or lster

I actually thought he was alright for a decent portion of the game. Njoku TD to me was a good player making a good play on the ball. Then he just fell apart in Q4. Was glad to see Marcus benched but give me fucking Beau Brade or something at this point because they're both bad.
Put Tucker back there at FS cause he can’t kick anymore. Wait till the weather gets cold as it will get worse

Not sure what's not clicking. Cause the bills were a good team and I think it was a good offense at the time as well. Hopefully they find their swagger eventually

I think it's a really fun joke we are branded as a tough gritty team, when Cleveland Pitt and kc out tough us and whip us year after year with that style. Our defense has no fire or passion or organization.

We bully teams like the bucs and cowboys and act tough but we aren't.

These defense is dog shit and zach Orr should be fired, its the same defense that took us 6 years to heal from

There's no fight on D. Feels like just guys going through the (wrong) motions over and over again.

Blah, blah, blah… there’s ebb and flow to most games, in division walkovers are rare. We hung in there playing badly in all phases, it happens. Hamilton makes the easy pick, game over, move on to next week.

Only a clown would call us tough or gritty. We're a finesse team coached by stupid people and rely on Lamar to save us every week. Funny enough nearly 8 out of 10 times he does

Who gives a fuck about this specific win or loss? It's about how the team plays and what it is capable of. Any reasonable person would be 99% as upset even if it was a win. The loss is irrelevant
