Okay fella.Written material...
You are right.
Second covers muskets and muskets only.
First covers anything and everything.

When are we going to start a militia when the US spends more on its military than the next 11 countries combined? Really, please, tell me when you will ever reasonably be called to start one.
The issue is that we have a mass shooting literally almost every day. That's a huge problem.
Sure, we can talk about 9-11 or a bombing, but 9-11 was once and how often do we hear about bombings? Rarely. How often is someone shot? Every single day.
97 people a day are killed on average by a gun. A mass shooting is generally accepted to be four or more people being killed in public. I can guarantee that happens every day.And no.
They are not literally almost every day.
The difference is that they didn't write it for every day citizens to have a gun for protection or hunting. The freedom of press applied to written and printed material, printing press or written on a piece of paper.Okay fella.

By the same person. Just because it isn't Las Vegas doesn't mean that it isn't a mass shooting.By more than one gun?
So guy A shoots one guy in one part of town.
Guy two shoots another guy in another part of town.
Guy three shoots someone else in yet another part of town.
Is not a mass shooting.

I suppose a big difference would be also that if I write something, I can't kill someone with it. I can easily kill many people with a gun.No man.
You are right.

Don't forget freedom of speech and expression which are general enough to cover digital. The difference is that they didn't write it for every day citizens to have a gun for protection or hunting. What is your initial question?Okay you win.
Mass shootings everywhere all the time.
With all these mass shootings I really should get rid of all my guns.
Because I sure as hell would not want to protect my family from all these mass shootings.
Maybe I will sell all my guns and buy bullet proof vests for my family.
If there really are all these mass shootings.
Why can't I protect my family with equal force?
You still didn t answer my initial question
I mean, if you want to get shot in the process, I suppose you could go for it.Let me ask you this.
If someone comes into my cul-de-sac busting down doors and starts shooting up my neighbors, my neighbors cars, my neighbors homes, my neighbors cats.
The police are at least five to ten minutes away. This gunman can inflict a lot of carnage in those five to ten minutes.
What makes the most sense.
To call the cops and sit there and wait for myself to get shot ?
Or take action and use equal force and save the lives of God knows how many human beings in my cul-de-sac?
Well @29BmoreBird22 ?
What makes the most sense ?
Gotcha.Nothing.
I was posting it in reference to "breaking the cycle"
Making it more difficult to obtain and own a firearm is not breaking the cycle.
Yeah. Like that is even remotely possible.@K-Dog if your question is why can't you defend your family the way you want, you wouldn't need to defend with a gun if no one had one...
Yeah. Like that is even remotely possible.
Heroin is killing more people a day than guns. Heroin is illegal. It is illegal to buy, sell, own and possess. and yet it still kills hundreds if not thousands a day.
How is it even going to remotely possible to rid the US of guns?
It is not.
BTW you technically did not answer my question.
Heroin can be created in a lab in a house in America. Good luck doing the same with a gun.Yeah. Like that is even remotely possible.

I would like to see a quote on that 20%. I'd venture to say more like 75% and then they're modified.Thats accurate, it would still be tricky to make a dent with "buy back" when only 20% of guns used in mass shootings are sold legally. Still, theyre far more accessible than it is to hijack a plane or make a truck bomb.
