I mean at the moment, I'm most definitely in the Rosen camp over darnold
I could see why. Rosen's got a gun, and if you give him any semblance of protection he's deadly accurate and somewhat mobile in the pocket. But because Jim Mora has proven to be a good coach, but lousy recruiter, Rosen doesn't have an oline. Which means even though the RBs are very talented, they can't get going, and Rosen is getting massacred. His situation is somewhat similar to Andrew Luck's as of right now. Both are very good QBs and you can't deny it. But, both have absolutely nothing to work with sans a reciever or two, and have absolute jokes of a defense as well. This puts them into potential shootout situations, and because both are super talented, they'll keep their teams in the game, but eventually try to force something and screw it up in the end. Rosen as of right now is Tony Romo before 2014. Both get a bad rep for choking, when it's not really entirely their fault(but then again, Romo never brought his team back down 34, but you see my point), and both are very good QBs.
As a player comparison it's tough to put a name on Rosen. Many say Matt Ryan. Sure, both are mechanically sound and have guns, but Ryan, at least as of recently, is much of more a gun slinger. Rosen plays it safer, but he's entirely conservative. Some also say Jay Cutler because of the boneheaded mistakes he occasionally makes, but Rosen(in college anyway) is far more accurate, and doesn't have nearly as strong of an arm. Overall, I see Eli Manning. You get the good along with the bad. When Manning is on his A-game, he's great. He's won two Super Bowls and he deserves a ton of credit. When Manning is terrible, you want to hit your head against the wall.
