The 2023 Offseason Thread

I didn’t hear that but there was a couple of minutes that I missed. Him and EDC were both talking about him being a Raven this year but I don’t think either is even 100% certain. The way EDC talked I would still put it at 50/50.
He said it at the start, but it was just hyperbole to stress the desire to try to get a deal done. I agree it’s 50/50 and I get the feeling the ball’s in Lamar’s court.

It felt very clear to me that they understand the ramifications if they don't get something done with Lamar. There's always a line of course but I feel a lot more confident now that the media speculation has been just that... speculation. They don't know shit.
That's why I never bought into those quotes. Between Preston, Sammy, and the Banks article, I'm like "Wow. Ravens really do a tight ship, tight-lipped." Disappointing across the board. Glad that the FO realizes that getting the long-term extension done sooner rather than later is more beneficial than the tag.

And then we can FINALLY, shut these Jets fans up with their photoshopped jerseys of him. They already had a Lamar Jackson, they are NOT getting another one.

I mean they aren't going to go out there and blast him for any of the issues. I'm sure there were some issues to some extent.

But I also don't think they're going out there and repeatedly saying how much they want him back unless they mean it.

Well not sure with Harbs king of indecision

I definitely don't find Harbaugh perfect. Yes he's served us well, but he is a million light years away from perfect.
Good as shannon is, i bet he wont be with niners for 15yrs..harbaugh has kept this team competitive when we were shit.

I wouldn’t mind Corey. It wouldn’t shock me to see him being a salary cut. Jets got Moore and Wilson. Ravens love bringing in former guys they love but missed out on during the draft.

Unfortunately I think it’s clear we need to trade Marcus Peters. It’s the only way to win a Super Bowl

Kansas City Chiefs: traded Peters to Rams
Los Angeles Rams: trades Peters to Ravens

As a fun little game, does anyone think the OC could be a wild name that no one even has on their radar?

I think we've seen that Harbs really likes OCs who have previously been HCs. Trestman, Marty, Cameron, Caldwell. I think Roman was actually the first guy to not have HC experience actually.

Makes me think Reich might be his guy. And he's available right now. Just my hunch

Reich is also from that Eagles tree that Harbs loves too

but idk that he'll pigeon-hole himself - went super young at DC, may well look that way again at OC
