makes me feel a tad more quiet about our Pass rush need

I watched bits and pieces of OSU game yesterday - their C is more than decent, too.
Yeah he’s pretty good. I won’t say anything bad about him nor Biadasz but I just really like the power behind Gaillard. He gets push and mauls guys at the LOS.

The best thing that could happen to us is to have Sweat, Polite or Ferell fall to us in the first and then get an IOL and a WR in the third.

I’d agree. I would love for those guys to fall to us right now; however that may change of course as we see more of them. They are all dangerous and seem to possess what we need so they would be ideal adds for us. Then get a center like Biadasz or Gaillard would be ideal for us because I feel like they fit us the best of all centers and I like their body size. I’m not a big fan of tall centers like Jordan because I think they naturally stand too tall in their stance and I worry about that at the next level when they face guys who are better athletes. I like my C around 6-3 just like my pass rushers; although there’s always outliers of course

Watched FLA against LSU yesterday.. Polite is quick, fast and agile but nowhere close to what people describe him. He's literally another Tim Williams, who's kept out on most run plays because he doesn't hold the edge. He likes to burst off the outside shoulder of the T and eventually counter inside but I was quite underwhelmed honestly. I don't think we need another speedy rusher.. It would make us predictable and liable on outside runs.
Hopefully I'll find out more today.

Ferrell is one I see better on this roster but he has to polish the way he fking manages the gap on a run play. He literally throws his shoulder into the B gap giving up outside leverage.. Consistently..It's frustrating..can be taught but it's frustrating.
I'd also like to see much more creativity as a pass rusher from him.

Will make as much research as i can on both and post it tonight.. It keeps telling me there's problem uploading from the mobile.

What about Montez? I think he’s the best of the 3 right now

Great leverage and uses frequently a solid Push pull rip move (like my ole boy Fackrell).
Definitely my favourite fit for our team as he´s a good compromise of intangibles and potential

Yeah I was just surprised you didn’t mention him. I agree with you. I’m hoping he falls to us but maybe that’s wishful thinking but a lot can change. Hell he could have a bad combine like Brown

Wonder if Josh Jacobs declares or returns for his senior year. If we are going to take back early, I'd rather have him than Harris.

I did tho, in the previous page ;) still under effect of my long commutes so it was hard to put together 2 meaningful english sentences in a row, but I did.
In addition to the similarities in role and style he shares with Fackrell, I see him as one of the few good fits who would eventually step in for Sizzle. The others being of course Bosa and Zach Allen.
Rest is all 2nd round material for what I've seen now. Players being overhyped or with one characteristic trait (speed, see Polite/Burns) but giving up entirely the grund duties.

Do some work on Ferguson when you have some time please?

I didn't find much that regards him specifically.. I think 1-2 old tapes, the rest was mere highlight reels..
Planning to check some full games on sunday if my home duties allow :)
I'd also like to go on with Ferrell (at least another 3 tapes) a bit and try to break down those things of his game that really stink to me.

Oh sorry I didn’t see it or didn’t remember. Not a big deal sorry if it came off as rude? But yeah I absolutely agree I like Montez a lot right now. Boss would be nice and I haven’t seen enough of Allen but I like him more than the other Allen right now. This pass rusher class is stacked and I hope we take a top guy early than wait and hope we get a steal—an area where we have repeatedly missed out on top talent because of that alone.

Is Michael Jordan still playing C?
I like him better at G personally.
Yep. Might be tad too big but plays well, regardless.
I like Jordan and I think he could be a good C but I wouldn’t take him over Gaillard or Biadasz. If we took those guys and want another guy to replace Yanda maybe or Lewis then Hell yeah. I just don’t want to rely on him to solve our C issues.

He’s tall but really just long in general and uses the length well, and doesn’t play weak at all, or high. Great feet too
I feel like people said the same thing about former FSU C Cameron Erving. He’s not as sloppy as Erving but I feel people had similar hopes for him. I’d rather just get a smaller C because that’s what I prefer especially with Lamar. I don’t think Jordan is that physical.
