The WR Thread

we have to walk away from this draft with one of: ridley, moore, miller, washington, st brown, kirk. kirk being the one im least fond of. id take the first 3 at 16, the next 2 after a trade back, and kirk in the second. im also warming up to the idea of auden tate but only if we get one of these well rounded guys also.

trade back for another 3rd if possible, grab moore, get gesicki in 2, use both thirds to trade back into the 2nd if you can land one of tate or cain or a falling OL
Miller is extremely slept on with draft analysts. I know their boards don’t always line up with NFL teams, but if everyone feels the same way about Miller, he might be available in the 3rd.

I think he will be. Especially with his foot problem and all the other WR who have less durability concerns than him

let's hope its not us that reaches on him then lol - he shouldnt really be in our range though

Ozzie is torn. LSU player. But a WR with good measurables but no hands.
At the end of the day, Ozzie feels the pressure and drafts chark. WR problem solved fellas

Man, you could take a wideout in rounds 2-6 and be legitimately excited about their potential.

Subject to change
1 Calvin Ridley/DJ Moore
2Deon Cain/DJ Chark
3Antonio Callaway
4 Jmon Moore
5Alen Lazard
6 Courtland Sutton
7Anthony Miller
8 Christian Kirk
9 James Washington
10 Eauanemous St Brown

Anthony Miller will replace one of these players. However I have to watch his game vs the better competition more thoroughly. As well as his proday. Although not the tell all I do believe the 40, jumps and 3 cone are not totally irrelevant. Saw many a receivers hyper productive vs lesser competition making spectacular catches to only be ok in the nfl. I root for Miller and don’t think he falls in that Kendall Wright territory. But my evaluation of him is kinda somewhat incomplete so far anyways.

I’m putting DJ Moore at No.1 next to Ridley for now. I got a lil touch of info about him from Maryland through former offensive lineman. St Brown and Miller I’m getting a better handle on. BTW Moore was consistently averaging 4.38 during his dry runs leading to his official time. He played at over 220 for a while last year. He plans on playing at 205-210 max in the NFL which is a more efficient WR play weight. He was around 4.48-4.54whenever timed at college. So he is a more explosive player than you are looking at on tape. He is a more explosive juju in my opinion. With a complete game. He is my preference for ravens to draft at No.sweet 16!!

Moore has a range of the bottom of the 1st to the top of the 2nd. That being said, depending on who is available at 16, I could live with us taking DJ Moore at 16 only for the fact I really really like him and believe he is going to be very good at the next level.

That being said, there is going to be a ton of talent that isn't the WR position at number 16 due to 3 or 4 QBs being taken in the first 15 picks.

Will probably have to trade up for Moore. He is gonna replace Ridley as the No.1 WR taken in round1

For all the DJ Moore love I can't help but really like Christian Kirk. He is so precise in everything he does. Plays like a Raven for sure.

As batshit as you sound with your continued talk of insider info, and as much as I disagree with you, I have also been seeing a lot of juju in Moore, but I've also seen a lot of Edelman in Moore as well.

I know the person in under armour that coordinates clothing for the players for the combine. And a couple of her crew she is in charge of all there. I know several former Maryland players that keep in contact with staff and occasionally train at the Maryland gym. Get out sometime and meet people!! Go to trendy clubs and gyms where all the pretty girls popular dudes including former college and pro athletes. I know that may seem batshit to somebody who doesn’t get out much. Or doesn’t have the confidence to walk in places like that. But it’s not hard to get info that floats around.

Lol my dude I'm married with a 2 year old son, I did a lifetime worth of that shit in 5 years and have nothing to show for it and have zero desire to live that life anymore. Being a family man has jackshit to do with my confidence. I'm 30 lbs overweight with a beer gut and haven't had a haircut in 2 months and still as confident as one can be lmao

Welcome aboard sailor

He wasn't the top guy. That was Watkins.

Ridley is more polished than Lee could ever dream of being

yeah i dont remember marquise lee ever being in the discussion for top wr that year... every mock and every opinion i came across had watkins unquestioned at the top and then mike evans and odell beckham jr (in either order) as the next 2
