Why don’t you look
Moore is worth keeping but he isn’t a number 2 type receiver and I dont think he ever will be - he’s a guy who’s a useful piece but his ceiling is probably a wr3 but in all honesty I’d feel nervous if he’s consistently playing anything more than wr4 snaps

Watched some St. Brown just now. Hes a very impressive athlete for sure. Has better speed than i expected and is pretty strong considering how skinny he is. Underrated route runner, very smooth, excellent balance. His hands look solid for the most part, did drop a pass that bounced right off his hands but im not ready to say he has stone hands. Hes supremely talented for sure, just not ready to project where he will go

Allen Lazard has some fun tape to watch. Big target, big hands, makes conyested catches look easy. You could make a highlight reel of 50/50 balls from him. I honestly prefer him over Ateman too.

Need to see more of Wilson, Burnett, and Campbell. Its scary how many draftable recievers there are this year. We are bound to get a good 1 in the first 2 rounds.
Edit: shit....i forgot Auden Tate.... oh well, just another reciever to look at

Im not sure how i feel about Dante Pettis. Hes a great returner but he seems somewhat limited as a reciever

I'd put Auden Tate between Kirk and St. Brown. Granted, since they're so different, you could argue for Tate being 3 depending on what spefically you're looking for.

Its hard to judge when the 6'4 plus guys will go considering theres so many of them this year
Yeah there's been some hype early but he looks like just a guy. He's been shut down against good press corners. Although I'll give him that his QB isn't doing him justice.
The more I look at Tate the more he looks raw. He's a specimen but he doesn't really uses his body as well as you'd like to dominate at the catch point and he tends to be a clap catcher too often. I'd probably put him at 6 or 7 in my rankings just for his ability to be a superstar and how much we lack a guy like him especially when your QB is Joe.

After watching four games, two from 2017 and two from 2015, Ateman strikes me as very unrefined.
He is limited essentially to running comeback, back shoulder throws and stick routes and is fairly successful at the collegiate level so far as these routes are concerned but he is not at all sharp in these breaks. Rather, they are slow and rounded.
I don't see deep speed manifested at all so unless he becomes sharper in his breaks or becomes expert in using his enormous frame to box out a defender, he won't be able to threaten all parts of the field and will struggle.
He does not track the ball well deep....in fairness, I observed only one time he got behind the defender.
He is used extensively in the redzone to win jump balls because of his great size and id say the results are mixed.
He must learn to high point the ball! He wins at times because of how big he is, but On not a single throw that I recall do I see him absolutely go up and get it at its highest point.
He has upside in the red zone and as a chain mover and if he improves in these areas he would be a great complimentary piece, but he needs work.
I made the mistake of googling his scouting report after forming my impression and read him mentioned in the first round....I don't see that at all.

Agree, id take Tate, Lazard, and St. Brown over him. I think Tate is one of the best at highpointing the ball in college. Meanwhile Lazard may be the most polished of all the big guys, hes really growing on me and his stock is rising in my book. Then, St. Brown is just the most gifted athlete of tbe bunch, also a much more natural route runner even though he still needs work

I agree he is kind of a JAG. You dont like Browning? I think hes a guy worth taking a shot at developing no? He may underthrow some balls at times. Doesnt have consistency with accuracy, but hes mobile and has good numbers with a winning record. Also his Oline was awful...but thats another thread lol
Browning looks like the prototypical smart pocket passer with a much too weak arm.

For some reason , EQ Brown doesn't get much attention . I've just begun to watch him myself and I can't help but notice that he was asked to block a ton . In other words it looks to me like he was underutilized quite a bit and that he suffered because the quarterback play was subpar .
He is open on tape quite often and simply isn't targeted .
I like what I see from him thus far very much . He has speed and some quickness and very strong hands to reach out and grab the ball . He is elusive enough to make people miss in space . From what I've seen so far I am reasonably certain that he will be a productive receiver in the NFL .
It's too early for me to figure out where he might go in the draft … I'm guessing he won't make it out of the second but that's just a guess
