The WR Thread

It's a toss up in a lot of categories (speed, routes, hands) but Cain plays bigger imo and can win in more ways. Also a better RZ target.

If it's a toss up, Ridley off field is higher than cain. Wasn't Cain suspended right before playoffs 2015 for drugs

Yeah I heard he had some off field issues once but haven't heard about it since so since I'm not sure I'll see how it goes. Could definitely tip the scales but for now I'm sticking to the on field and I take him before Ridley.

Auden Tate, Marcell Ateman, Eq. St Brown, Courtland Sutton, Simmie Cobbs, Allen Lazard, David Sills. If we're not able to get ourselves a big jump ball receiver this year, we never will. I've been asking for it for so long, please make it true this year Oz.

Im not sure id want David Sills. He seems to have small hands on tape and doesnt highpoint often. Not a natural hands catcher

Ateman had such a great game against Oklahoma. I don't know where he's projected to go but his skillset is exactlty what we need.

I agree. He has the talent and the work ethic to make it happen. The article made me look deeper into him. I really like him as a person. His character is top notch

it's started to become a bugabear of mine - i dont really care about good character - i only really care about bad character when evaluating prospects - if a guy goes above and beyond and is a good kid it doesnt really affect my evaluation because it doesnt seem to bear itself out in the league that way - the only time it affects my evaluation is if im worried about work ethic, availability, ability to live up to potential... i dont care about the difference between a good and a great guy...

i realise that's harsh but ive been burnt a few times over the last few years by upgrading guys who've come through harder stuff and ive rated them too high on my board (including breshad perriman it seems)

Very true. I mean if great character meant the player would succeed in the NFL, then Torrey Smith is a star
