The Random Thought Thread

i respect this from MC but I go back to something will campbell said in the draft process this year about EDGE play and OL play

he said something like:
if an edge beat will campbell three times in a game, that edge would be seen as a top 5-10 pick but if will campbell wins 95% of his reps but loses 3 times and it leads to 3 pressures or 3 sacks, that's a bad game

unfortunately for OL, losses affect basically every play so winning more than you lose is not good enough, especially when the losses are bad losses

so it doesnt matter that faalele is good more than half of the time because it's the other half that matters more

obviously that's an oversimplification but i think it rings true

If you don't have Peacock, you will need it on December 27th to watch the Ravens travel to Green Bay and play the Packers. It will be the Peacock exclusive game on December 27th at 8PM. With Texans vs Chargers at 4:30pm on NFL Network.

So Sunday Night December 20th against the Patriots, then 6 days later a Saturday Night Game? You would think we were undefeated and not 6-7.

Did Harbs really say in his presser that the guards played “exceptional” lol

are you sure you want to watch the game after just getting a tattoo. You may be pulling the tattoo out by the end of the 1st quarter.
I'll be driving back from New York, so it'll give me something to keep me awake on the drive.

I should clarify that I'm going to "watch." It's going to be me glancing at my phone for half a second when there's a free stretch with no cars and otherwise listening.

I just assumed you had Tesla autopilot or something lol

@Simba , how likely would we be seeing wholesale changes if we were to lose out? Given how we've been playing these last several weeks and our remaining opponents after today, it's not too far-fetched to say it's a real possibility.

I mean if they lose out, there are going to be changes. There's no debate there.

I just have to make an observation watching the Bronco's game and from memory. I love seeing Sean Payton with a play calling sheet in his hand. I love seeing him involved in the play to play operation of, at least, the OFF rather than just a cheer leader and sideline lawyer with the refs. I can't stand that our guy, maybe not today, is often caught out asking into his headset, "What do you see?" or what have you.
