The Random Thought Thread

There are so many better games they could have put on Sunday night, but instead, they subject us to this bullshit in primetime. I don't need this in my life.
I think I'm oddly the only one okay with this...

I'm getting a tattoo that afternoon and this will allow me to watch the game.

So Jesse Minter just moved up several spots on my Head Coach wish list for next year after tonight. I still prefer an offensive minded coach but if the Chargers defense keeps playing like that, he's going to be my number one candidate in the offseason.

it blows my mind but we can make the playoffs in so many ways still if we beat Cincy and pitt - which is obviously way too much to ask. even if we lose to GB it'll likely be cancelled by Pitts loss @detroit - and if they lose to either miami or @cleveland - we could lose to the pats and packers and make it in.

I don't think he's "bad" in the traditional sense. He's learning a new position and has only been practicing at it for a few weeks. I'd say he's much more not ready than bad. I only noted 2 positive snaps out of his 16 against the Bengals. He quite simply just looked like a rookie learning a new position. The upside is much higher going forward though.

he just didn't look ready in his snaps the other day
this guy didn't have a single offseason practice, has no first team reps in practice (as far as im aware), is changing positions and sides

if he'd been great in his first go, we'd be looking at a potentially generational talent lol

what i will say is... if we lose another game or two, just put him in and let him learn - while he's clearly worse right now than vorhees, he has the potential to get better and the actual results were not much worse than vorhees' output

I agree. There’s a time for Emery Jones. That time just isn’t how while we’re inexplicably still alive.
