The Random Thought Thread

The 4th best QB in the AFC west is arguably top 3 in the NFC overall. Let that sink in.
Precisely the reason why I never thought Rodgers was going anywhere.

I'm quite shocked Wilson actually got dealt, and I'm still pretty surprised that anybody looking to leave of their stature wants to play in Denver. Mahomes, Carr and Herbert six times a year, will play Burrow, Lamar, and Josh Allen periodically, and will all but certain need to beat 2-3 of those guys every year just to make it to the SB.

Well I mean Wilson had a ton of leverage here, and I think they only get a better deal from an NFC team.
I think some in the media may overvalue Wilson a little bit. I'm not certain that a lot of teams league-wide view him as like a top 4-5 QB anymore. I think he'd be closer to back-end top 10 or maybe even a little outside of it.
The perfect overrated and somehow underrated QB. He has a few games a year where he looks like an MVP level guy and then regresses. Hard to put it all on him because they’ve made pretty much no progress on protecting him the last several years and have missed on nearly all of their draft picks in that time.

sounds like washington offered 3 1st rounders + more but Seahawks didnt want him in the NFC

Idk about him being outside of top 10 or back end of 10.. idk how any team or anyone could even think that.. maybe im missing something here or maybe for some reason he will play very badly next year

Well I mean I think most teams would have Mahomes, Allen, and Rodgers over him. The rest is just kind of preference. Lamar, Herbert, Watson, Dak, Stafford, etc. are all sort of in that group of QBs where I think a lot of people can make cases for or against. That's like 7 guys right there.

Watson maybe but rest of them arent batter for sure

Based on what? Statistically you can argue pretty much all of them are better. Just depends on what stats you pick.
If it's the "winning" argument, that's not a fool-proof evaluation. Many people don't put stock in W/L record for QBs, being that its not really a QB stat.

Rest in peace to Shane Warne, I have no idea who you'd compare him to. You probably can't, he was one of a kind. The best spinner in the game of Cricket. 52 is too young, take him in Ray

Anyone get a Tesla or similar with this hike in gas prices? I feel like that's the way to go for the future but I really want to keep getting Challengers lol
I don't have a TSLA but I have a lot of shares purchased at 200 per share, so please everyone go out and buy a TSLA!

Challengers are beautiful cars, but yes go TSLA. Maybe Challengers will come out with an EV soon.

Bought a Tesla about a year ago and couldn’t be happier right now with that decision. I’ve paid less than $100 total on charging in the last year.
I knew there was a reason I liked you....

I have an Infiniti Q50, bought in 2018. My next car will be a Tesla.

As someone who proudly owns a Challenger, I concur with their beauty. Regarding the EV, it's been confirmed by Dodge that there will be a EV muscle car (that in itself sounds weird AF). It's uncertain if it'll be the Challenger, Charger, or something else (maybe the Barracuda that's rumored to make a comeback).

Would just mention regarding other EVs is that the tech hasn’t been fully there yet for some company’s first foray into the market. I was considering other options besides Tesla but so many of these newer models aren’t hitting their estimates on range and are having tons of other issues (aka the first run of the mustang mach e just dying randomly even with a full charge). Don’t buy the first run. Let them work out the kinks for a few years if you’re going with a company just getting into that market.

If you think russ is outside top 10 or even close to 10 so be it.. thats not something im gonna debate about cause it should be a no brainer. Idk if you actually watch russ or any of the other qbs but you dnt need stats just to see whose better.
