I agree, however joe is still terrible. Not as accurate as wilson
I agree with you except one lil stipulation. I haven't watched much tape and football since 2016 draft season. One thing I have looked at is QB accuracy. I compared joe to 7 active QBs which one of is Russell Wilson. The verdict. Wilsons accuracy is more consistent. He can throw fairly accurate under pressure and on the move. However when Joe Flacco is protected and allowed to comfortably look for his receiver and step into his throws from a clean pocket he is nearly as accurate as Brady and Bree's. Definitely not a lot of difference. Which is beyond logic management didn't put more resources into the offensive line. Many magnificent big play throws to Torry and Jacoby. When he is pressured not only does me make bad reads and decisions. His accuracy seriously falls off the landscape. And under most circumstances Wilson is more accurate.
However when the stars line up for Joe and he can throw on his favorite circumstances it is like WOW!! You can clearly see justification management believing in him so much. But under pressure his accuracy is as bad as anybody's. Under a top shelf Oline not many QBs I would take over Joe. Give him an experienced stronger Stanley, Osemele Jensen Yanda and Cam Robinson at RT and there isn't many QBs I would take over joe. And he would perform very well with merely competent receivers. No need for superstars. But with an average or below average line. You would have to be a serious homer to take Joe over Russell Wilson. And with his salary up there with QBs that can perform without an elite Oline like Rodgers and Bree's and Wilson. It Would be hard to put joe behind an elite Oline like that
