A world of difference between simply agreeing a player has talent and being an early and persistent advocate for drafting him. You know that.

And while I'm certain in the knowledge that Ozzie and co. are far more astute than I regarding their vocation, I'm equally assured that there are plenty on this board who are better GM candidates than Ryan Grigson.
 
I'm pretty confident in my ability to evaluate talent, I don't think I've missed on a lot of prospects. A good way to make our point is through the forum's draft from the BR forum. I'll let the others make their list, here's mine with LAC:

1st: Reuben Foster
2nd: Curtis Samuel, Zay Jones
3rd: Justin Evans, Carlos Henderson
5th: Rasul Douglas

Not sure who I took afterwards though but I would consider it a good draft and I'm sure
the others had great hauls as well. Only analyst I trust more than anyone on this forum is Matt Miller.

Is there any list or something with the results from that? I can't remember to save my life who I took lol. I remember taking adoree Jackson in the second and kpassagnon in the third, that's it

Nah I'm going by memory alone. I remember Adoree because I'm the one you traded with. I know you had Detroit but that's all I can remember... Maybe you put it on your SoF? I know I didn't lol

Hoping we can continue the Forum Mock in February. Believe rmw10 said he would come back for that, but through text he to,d me he is enjoying his non Forum life. :( Btw, he was the first advocate for Tyus Bowser and he was extremely excited that we drafted him.

The google doc we used has everyone's picks. That being said, I went back and made sure I had the previous years information.

Didn't you take Reddick?

I know you traded up fir Adoree and you were mad that I took Samuel with your pick because that's the guy you wanted next.

Yeah I have it but literally everything except for my draft is on there. Seems like it was from immediately before the draft

same as the one I have, my draft selections aren't on there, just the list of the original picks that I had before the draft started

And yeah that sounds right. I think it was reddick, trade up for adoree jackson, tanoh kpassagnon, and Isaiah Ford, can't remember what else

How will the team address the lack of depth at RB? We are in serious straits at the position if Terrance West were to miss time.
 
How would you all feel about using Campanaro in Woodheads role? Of course your can't use him to run between the tackles without him getting broken in half but, I feel he could handle some outside run sweeps and definitely would be a mismatch for a linebacker out of the backfield on passing downs. It would also reduce the need to bring someone in or up if the team wants to hold Danny on the roster through his injury. It's just a thought.
