Verse did great with LAR and has a lot of upside as a talent. I don’t think the Browns lost this trade if we view it for what it is. They got a great young player who isn’t a generational talent like Garrett but was still a large contributor for them and seen widely as a massive success as a draft pick. He’s no scrub and if you point to his stats as an explanation, it also took Garrett some years to break out as a game wrecker. I don’t think he is Garrett, but that’s because he’s special. I think the Browns know that but I think they see it as they didn’t win games or go very far with Garrett, either. They don’t have a QB and that is holding them back.

I think the Rams paid a high price for Garrett. The question is how much value does Verse have? I’d say conservatively he holds at least a value of a first round pick.

I think Verse is worth a 1st and a 2nd especially with 2 yrs left on his rookie deal.

I get getting Verse back was probably the best deal Browns could get... but dang, I presumed it would have to take three 1st to acquire a generational talent like Myles Garrett. Browns only getting back one 1st (thats gonna be in the mid-20's). Crazy.

If the first is in the mid 20s I will be shocked. I don’t know how the Rams are not overwhelming Super Bowl favorites right now.
 
Has Drake London really been this good and I haven't noticed? A hefty price here Atlanta is paying. @Simba This is probably making Zay's agent very happy I imagine. We need to lock up Zay quick, can't let these other receivers keep getting paid and the cost of him keeps going up.

The cost isn't going up. This was always going to be the cost.

Anything you heard in terms of a deal being done before Training Camp or the start of the season? I know with the 5th year option we have him under contract through 2027 so no rush but it still would be nice to get something done so we don't have to worry about it later.

They're open to it and have had discussions. No rush but it's active and ongoing.
