Definitely feels like the opportunity cost of taking this big swing is missing out on someone who could maybe have a bigger year 1 impact
 
I would ordinarily say this is one of the worst picks we've made in a while. But I recognize this is neither Harbs, nor some wack ass OC running the team. Let's see what an entirely new coaching staff does with a big bodied, traitsy WR.
 
Could be wrong, but I think we'll need a vet WR.

You need one more and certainly one more guy who's somewhat legit as a WR3 to derisk the other 3 being pure trash
 
Im just gonna pretend like this pick didnt even happen. I just know he gonna be getting jammed to oblivion lol. Looks like he moves all upper body thinking its gonna fool the cb.. man i hope we find a good use for him.
 
Ok so even though he ass, he doesnt look all that stiff. I like hurst cause even though he like like 6”3, he looks technical or fluid i should say.. yea its gonna take some developing for this jakobi lane guy lol
 
Just watched a couple of highlight videos and everything said in here is everything even I noticed.

I'm not sure how he fits with Lamar.

EDC was definitely influenced by the coaches/scouts on this one.

lane's not stiff at all

but he can't sink the way that brazzell and hurst can (which is what makes them much higher upside guys)

Everybody is forgetting the said track record is associated with Harbaugh's tenure and coaching staff not in Baltimore any longer. Maybe this boy doesn't pan out but why don't we just give these coaches a chance and see what happens?
 
I logged on just to say this pick pisses me off to no end. There were so many good players left, much better WRs left, but yet they take this guy who is a late round talent at best.
