2026 Offseason Thread

@JoeyFlex5 is so right. The biggest hole on this roster is kicker. I said it on day 3 of the draft and I'll say it again. Where is Loop's competition? Minter does NOT deserve that guy who was never really able to kick in the first place.

the thing I’m more certain about than ANYTHING in ravens history, is that Tyler Loop ain’t it
I am slightly worried around the lack of talk around that position this offseason and hoping they address it in training camp.

In a league where people are regularly hitting from 55+ Loop looks out of his depth to me. He cant even get the kick off right.

the problem is... where's the competition?
I’m not a fan of it either. I’m wondering why not get an UDFA? I’m surprised we haven’t heard of it yet to this point unless I missed it. You’d think people would want to come
Here since Loop missed the kick to keep us out of the playoffs.

Because the options are slim. They’ve got a UDFA coming in for a tryout. They’ve also kept open communications with a couple of the FA vets.

F Yeah on Calais. I was hoping for him since the draft. Washington is cooked, i don't think he plays another down for ravens or maybe even NFL.

74/80 kicks made. 3/6 misses from 50+ and yet we know he has the leg for it. Dude's far from toast as an NFL kicker. He was mediocre, even fringe you could say, but it wasn't a disaster as far as rookie kickers go. I just think after a decade of the best kicking in NFL history the last 2 years have kinda broken us.

It was absolutely a disaster. He was not trusted to make long kicks. Lots of situations where we would've brought out Tucker, we just punted. It also meant he was never put in high pressure situations either. Then one time it happened, on an easy af FG too, he blew it hugely.

Reminder. He missed a 22 YD FG in college. May not have been 22 but it was low 20s. And it wasn't blocked.

3/6 from 50+ is not up to modern nfl standards, and missing a sub 50 game winner to end the season early is unacceptable.

Those metrics, which are actually not even close to good, mean nothing when it comes to big moments which is what’s most important for kickers. He’s a lil babydick dweeb he ain’t cut out for the big games

I am still not over Calais throwing Jackson under the bus.

Love the fit and depth he adds though

I said he was mediocre to bad. But those stats aren't disastrous for a rookie. He still has a chance.
