I'd give him an opportunity to win the job in training camp but with competition

Hamilton, Derrick Mason, Ray rice belong in tier 2. Humphrey tier 3

I would honestly put both Chris McAlister and Jimmy Smith over Humphrey. That's not an insult to Humphrey, but those two would genuinely shut down their side of the field. Hamilton and Rod Woodson need to be higher as well.

Humphrey is more suited to the modern nfl where you can play all over and impact the game with more than just coverage, but as far as pure man corner play goes, those dudes are entire leagues above Humphrey

Hard to put Suggs on the same tier as Ray, Ed, and JO, they’re just clearly another tier of player.

Think it speaks more to how great our tiers 1 and 2 are. We have arguably the 3 greatest players at their positions.

Take the Steelers, jack lambert would be in their tier 1, but is ANYONE other than their dumb asses putting him on rays tier? Nope.
