The Q4 Heroics, the Tackling, and the Season is Over

Zay man idk what his deal is. He has these kinda days often, and he often has days where he just can’t get out of his own way and it hurts us. He almost gave up a pick early on when he bobbled that ball to Ramsey.

Nate Wiggins, idk what happened last week, but overall this dude had a hell of a season, he was targeted pretty often and he defended so many passes.

Nate’s like one more step in his development away from being a superstar at CB

And Zay really is a great player who (somewhat like Loop) seems to be haunted by 1 play as a rookie (the fumble in the afc championship) - he’s finished the season 6th in receiving yards at WR… only truly elite guys and George Pickens had more yards than him - have the ravens ever had anyone be that close to the top of the league at WR?

Can’t believe that the Steelers got a leveraging call against Travis jones that shouldn’t have been called that cost us 4 pts last time

And now the Steelers get a non-call on the final play that cost us the game and the season

Saw it live and didn't bother... It's just hilarious we're called for that dumb ass penalty against Stanley but they let that go on the same drive. and the fact that gave them a td in the 1st game

I really fucking hate Shawn Smith and his crew

It better be the best OL player or best DL available at that spot. Then our second round pick is whatever position we didn't address in the first.

Unfortunately, looking preliminarily at prospects the last couple of weeks don’t see a DL who’s worth that kind of capital and it’s a down year for OL at the top - only a couple of guys I’d want there and you’d assume they get picked early

All the penalties, all the mistakes, players stop running, all this comes back to coaching. You don't see this in Kansas City, you don't see this with the Rams, you don't see it with Denver or New England. We simply aren't a well coached team and that's been the case for far too long and hopefully tomorrow morning...... we will be free of Harbaugh, Monken and Orr and the entire coaching staff. That at this point will feel like winning the Super Bowl.

Kansas City is the 7th most penalized team in the NFL this season. Denver is the 5th most penalized. We are the 6th least, below New England. And we can't keep moving the goalposts. If we're clamoring for DeAndre Hopkins to be more involved because of his experience, we can't then turn around and completely clear him of the mental error and put the blame elsewhere. Otherwise, we're blatantly seesawing.

We put ourselves in a situation where we needed someone who was perfect on the season to deliver one more time. That's a hard place to beat considering we had a 6% chance of making the playoffs a few weeks ago. I do hope we make the change from Harbaugh and Orr. It's simply time. Monken has been significantly better than given credit for. I'd love to do a tape study with those thinking otherwise. Granted, if we hire a new head coach, I would also expect a clean sweep.

Did not even notice that. Good shout, my man!

So another Corner or Safety it is then.

First time owning a tank. It’s daunting at first but I found a few resources to make it a lot easier.

Yeah it’s a lot of work but I’m enjoying tf out of it, lots of fun building a little ecosystem.

And this little guy is pretty spectacular. I know when he’s hungry because he’ll stare right at me, he’s a vicious predator to worms(seriously), and he gets the zoomies. So cool owning one
That's really cute that he has such a fleshed out personality. When I see videos of them, they always have the absolute slowest reaction times to worms and they just sit there. It's neat to hear that yours is active and showing signs of life.

I think my biggest barrier to wanting one would be I love to be able to hold and pet my animals. I'm so partial to the furry ones for that reason, but this has sold me a lot more on an axalotl.

Reminder that Shawn Smith called the 2023 AFCCG.
