Coaching Carousel 2026

I don’t know much about Miles Taylor but the way Minter is assembling the secondary coaches really makes me believe we’re about to see a return on the investment of capital we’ve been spending there. I would really like to see the same amount of investment, coach wise, on the defensive line. Weaver is a great start but Karl Dunbar would be incredible.

That would be really cool if Levine was able to be STC or atleast Asst. STC.
Sounds like he's a very real option for the STC role, but is likely to stick around as assistant even if he doesn't get it. But they like him a lot and feel like he's a key reason they've had some individuals really step up, and are intrigued by him running the entire unit himself.

I personally love how Minter is cleaning house. Get these Harbaugh yes-men tf outta here

I'll reiterate...

The organization liked Tee. Lamar liked Tee. Neither side cared strongly enough to mandate that he stay. Nothing personal. Just letting the new staff pick their own guys.
Out with old, in with the new. IMO it should have a positive effect on Lamar, time to take the next step.

where's this idea that Tee Martin's Lamar's guy come from?

did i miss some reporting about it?

like i assumed they got on well but i've not read anything that suggests they're tight

I think it's been misconstrued a bit. He and Lamar have a good relationship, and because of that, he was one of the ones they blocked from lateral opportunities until the new HC was hired. Once Minter got hired, it was really no different from the other blocked guys that left. Just took a little longer to come out officially, but them interviewing other guys for the role said what needed to be said there.

I hope Lamar takes the news like a professional.

Lamar seems like the type to let the guys do their job without interference. He might have liked Tee, but see him trusting the process.
