Coaching Carousel 2026

What is it you all like about nate and webb that made yall want them as a HC and now an OC? minus the twitter news of other coaches and people claiming them to be some next big thing? Rams, i see if it was lafluer but its not… its a guy that got hired in 2024 then promoted this past season. Is it a good idea to go after two coaches with barely if any playcalling experience coming in to call plays for a team with a top 5 qb and plans to win a sb soon? C

Can’t speak on Webb

But I like scheelhaase a lot - the way he talks about football, scheme and players is impressive

And journalists i trust like Jourdan Rodrigue really rate him highly (and that normally comes from how people talk about him within the rams building)

To be clear, for me it is literally just, as you so eloquently put it, “the twitter news of other coaches and people claiming them to be some next big thing.”
Nothing more. Nothing less.

I'll weigh in on my opinion, too.

1. Webb: Payton tree, didn't call plays but clearly well respected, lots of player support, former QB, constantly raved about his intelligence, could be a young and promising mind. I liked him more as a HC for these qualities than an OC, which is why I've cooled on him (although still liked him better than Brady). He made Stidham look good in the Broncos game, when he should've sucked way worse.
2. Scheelhaase: McVay tree, young, passing game coordinator that has done very well in that area, talked up a lot. Probably my favorite of the options because I'd like to get the McVay concepts here. I think moving to OC is better for him than straight to HC. He speaks well, presents well, seems very intelligent.

Monken, you poor bastard
