Coaching Carousel 2026

I'm curious if Steelers fire Tomlin or trade him after this one. Obviously adding Tomlin to the mix would have the same effect as Harbaugh being fired. Plenty of teams, even those with Head Coaches would consider Tomlin.
He’s going to TV if he parts ways with them

McDaniel never won the division in 4 years. Miami had a 4-20 record against teams with a winning record. Tua was trash but he had talented offensive rosters.

Idk, his results were just so bad and he's a total weirdo. Dont see him as the face of the Ravens the way Steve talks about. But that's just me.
Adding.

I personally like seeing where coaches have elevated poor personnel. That's why I am higher on Saleh, Minter and Stefanski over McDaniel who I've not seen do much. He seems like the textbook players make him look good or bad

Why would we only talk to 4-5 guys? That'd be doing a disservice to the process, especially since everyone that doesn't get Harbaugh is going to await who takes our job most likely.
exactly and you get a lot of information when interviewing multiple candidates. It can only help an organization by going through the process.

I'm all for casting a net, but it is quite remarkable to me just how many guys we're interviewing. If you asked me 6 months ago, I'd have said we'd interview maybe 4-5 guys, thinking we already had a list in mind. We're interviewing like John suddenly died and we are scrambling to replace him. Almost like we are taken off guard by it.
Potential coordinators

Potential coordinators
Hmm maybe. Many of them already have coordinator jobs. So unless they get fired or their team allows them to leave, I wouldn't expect many of them to fit that mold. Plus there's currently 8 openings, so it's likely half the guys we interview are getting a HC gig somewhere.

Been a long time since they've done this. Probably trying to get a feel around the league. Maybe gathering info on potential staff as well.

The press conferences after games are always awful. I can't even blame Rodgers for getting annoyed at so many Tomlin questions in a row.

If anyone thought Harbaugh deserved to stay…

Giving up that many yards and losing to this god awful Steelers team not once, but TWICE should be enough to convince you
Doesn't convince me . Ravens defense don't have the pass rushers that the Texans have. EDC didn't do a great job addressing the trenches last year to even help this defense . Rodgers was sacked 4 times and pressured quite a bit last night.

Idk man! He made tua look great. Stat guys swore up and down that tua was great.
First of all, no he didn't lol. I remember discussing at length how bad Tua was every year. But you're right that's because some dolphins fams were delusional prior to his concussions I guess. But just look, does this look good to you?

55 total games under McDaniel
3424 pass yards per season on average
23.25 TDs per season on average
11 INTs per season on avaerage
99.125 passer rating on average
