I just don’t see Flores getting any real HC opportunities with a active lawsuit.
We all know these NFL owners don’t play and will look out for each other.

I see no reason Flores can’t come here as a coordinator. I’d think he’d love to do that if he’s getting no HC gigs
McDaniel with Flores would be legit! He’s one of those DCs that probably wouldn’t get a HC gig for a while too

If he's the clear best candidate during the interview process then the ravens are hiring him. It's really that simple . I don't think the ravens care that much about his lawsuit if they feel he clearly gives them the best shot to win now and win big
So seems like Miami is zeroing in on Hafley.
Tennessee is also hoping to get Hafley back for a round 2. He's a finalist along with Nagy and Saleh, with Nagy the presumed favorite right now.
Assuming those things fall into place, that leaves us, Arizona, Cleveland, Las Vegas, and Pittsburgh in the hunt.
Not saying we need to slow play this, but also still not really necessary to rush at this stage.

Man, if the first guys hired are Harbaugh (doesn’t matter to my point), Stefanski, Hafley, and Nagy…. This just explains why bad teams stay bad. The best coaches of this cycle are still available. There would be no reason to rush
i wonder if some of these situations are starting to coalesce because some of those guys who are high on other lists have been told they're not under consideration for the ravens job anymore
stefanski's the only surprise from that standpoint
but also how are the titans narrowing onto those candidates lol - their search just seemed to be: find me a future HC who's already done the job before regardless of success or anything else... they've interviewed 17 candidates (not including Harbs who was top of their list too), 12 were former HCs, 1 of the other 5 was an interim HC at one point... non-retreads they interviewed were Lou Anarumo, Jeff Hafley, Jesse Minter and Chris Shula
I understand Stefanski. He was about to be a finalist here and probably would have been elsewhere too. I think he had a real argument for some semblance of 'best available' at the time and I think he's a good fit there.
Apparently Hafley just blew away the Dolphins' brass.
Nagy is quite questionable to me. Feels like that's solely related to developing Cam Ward.

Going from Vrabel to Callahan was a choice to the say the least. Have to wonder if they're just so hellbent on experience that they're overcorrecting.
I agree. A fresh NFL HC candidate with college HC experience. Only thought there on my side is maybe they felt that losing Parsons exposed that defense for not being quite as good as it appeared.
