Next Up: @ Browns

So why draft him? You took a 6th rdr hoping he could be a role player that does one thing. He shows that he's really good at that one thing all Tc and PS. Now they claim that doing the 1 thing doesn't fit the defense.

no you draft him in the 6th round hoping you can maximise that thing he does well and help develop his skillset so that he can contribute...

that's why he's a 6th rounder and not a 3rd rounder...

You draft him because he didn't sign a one year contract. This isn't some new concept where player development only occurs through in-game reps and that late round picks are automatically busts if they don't play early and often.

Its entirely possible that you drafted him with the expectation that he wouldn't have a role at all in year 1.

the fact that he's done anything in year 1 is a great outcome for a 6th round pick

So basically like jmad and travis jones.. althought they had more to offer on the run game than peebles does

they had a lot more to offer in terms of NFL level strength and power
and as much as finesse is great, you can't survive with finesse in the NFL unless you at least hit the minimum required power thresholds - and it seems Peebles doesn't right now

Gotta tell I don't like weather games when we have the superior talent.

Turnovers could make the difference in this one and it certainly feels like a trap game.

Our team has lost to the browns 3/4 last times in Cleveland. Didn't have Lamar for 1 1/2 I believe, but still had the far superior team and lost.
(The one year we didn't lose in Cleveland they beat us in Baltimore)

Shits no joke we better come out sharp
I remember at one point we were like 13-1 vs them or someshit

Bro what's the deal? Is he simply not ready or is it something else?
Haven't been able to get it confirmed from my guy but just sounds like the plans they had for him got scuttled when they got Dre'Mont. Much like CJGJ before trading for Gilman.

i just don't get what taven bryan adds to this team
just don't see what the coaching staff are seeing - feels like every time he's out there, they get gashed
I'm with you for what it's worth. Think he had a solid game as an interior rusher last week but was largely silent the 2 before it and has never really been a good enough player to make me think his okay-solid game last week is what we get going forward. I'd guess his roster spot is pretty tenuous as we need space though.

Mark Andrews is on his way to making Franchise History. Already got a congratulations from Derrick Mason a day before lol.

Sanders off the bench, scores 21 pts in the only good game he plays his entire career...

You joke like Watsons last great game wasn't against a Mike Mac defense and they were down 2 scores. I hate how stressful Browns games can be. Then next year Jameis shreds us.

And I know we're not some "storied" franchise but 5,777 yards being the franchise record isn't crazy to anyone else?
