Division game. On the road. Always a potential banana skin. But the Browns are a shambles right now.

A chance to get back to .500 for the first time this season since we last played the Browns back in Week 2 when Flacco was the starter (and still a Brown).

Just. Win.

I never feel confident in the division but on paper, this shouldn’t be too competitive. Ravens need to go out and show that though.

What I liked about the Vikings game is that we took the points instead of going for it. Lamar also didn't need to make a Superman play or force the issue. Just be patient and take what the defense is giving him. I hope this continues if the defense keeps playing well to keep us in the game.

Defensively, I don't know shit about their current OL, but I'm hoping that Lawson gets to play. Can't have enough pass-rushers, right? Marvin might miss some time so I figure Tampa would get some snaps, right? With Bateman out, gotta think we should a combination of D-Hop, Wallace, and Walker.

Going to the Jason Bonham show Sunday, so probably will only see the first half of this game. Hopefully we put them away quickly so I won’t need to worry while rockin’ the LZ covers. lol

So what’s gonna be the move to make up for the loss of Bateman?

I hope we see heavy formations consistently, 2 TE or 1TE with Pat, zay and nuk outside, move the line laterally, lots of play action, pitches, and stretch runs.

I don’t want to try to spread teams out too much because because we gotta be able to run the ball. Our OL isn’t built to pass all day, and its not good
Enough to run all day either, I think it’s important that we set up the run by passing out of a balanced or run first personnel, because it’s what our offensive roster is best suited for by far.

You're making too much sense. Instead, we're gonna run it down on first 95% of the time and you're gonna absolutely like it.

i do think that we might be a better running team if we spread defences out a bit more

I don’t think our OL can hold up in pass pro with 4 wide and I don’t think we can run with only 5 blockers.

I think it takes some unconventional methods to get the run game going, which involves getting the defense to defend the pass in their heavier personnel(giving yourself extra blockers) then getting that heavier personnel to play on their heels by threatening to pass often.

With our OL the only solution to keep defenses from tee’ing off on Lamar and selling out to crash the backfield, is play action. You could pass on any given snap out of this run formation so the defense HAS to pause before committing to the run. We don’t need a ton from the OL just keep defenders out of the backfield and Henry will make consistent gains, play action accomplishes exactly that.

I HATE this spot. Not only divisional game v.s. tough defense, it's also 3rd straight road game. All it needs is bad weather to create perfect recipe for disaster. Lamar is locked in as F and that's the saving grace here.

Personally I love this spot.

They are going to have to go out there and fight for wins. This maybe what they need to have an edge come playoff time if they make it. This team lacked toughness throughout the years.

I do agree with that sentiment. We've already been the clear #1 powerhourse coming out of the reg season and that hasn't worked for us. Maybe being the dawg is the way.

I'm here in Cleveland rn and it's cold as shit. Looking like maybe rain Sunday. I do think you are under rating how terrible D G was next week. Cleveland's only chance at winning is if they score on defense (which is possible and they have done many times against us before)

That's the worst of it! Knowing all that I know how this is an awful spot, I'm still overconfident. The ultimate "fan condition"
