It just feels like he is Lamar's backup and he will suck anywhere else he goes and it will be extremely difficult to find a cheap option that fits here as well. he bounced around and tried it and I just see him back as the backup for the next 3-4 years. I dunno what they'll do with Rush but he's prolly very similar and should go back to Dallas and holding the clipboard for Prescott.

I'm not sure I trust him going up against the big dogs, but he always keeps us in games and I feel like that's all you really need out of a backup. I think I'm reupping with him until I find something better vs. moving on in hopes of finding something better.

In every league you have those backups that just fit with a system well. That's what Huntley is for us. I'm not saying we're the only team he can help, but he definitely has more value to us than a majority of others.


I still don't trust Orr. The next few games won't prove much even with the improvements, but there won't be bad teams in the tournament. I don't want to put it out there, but an injury to Nate or Kyle, and what happens to this unit?

There just isn't anybody winning the pass rushes. It's pretty painful to watch tbh. Orr brought the blitz but like you said that's gonna work against average Qb's like Caleb who get thrown off their rhythm easily.

I actually thought the pressure was schemed pretty well in comparison to the rest of the season. Felt like this was the first game in awhile where the disguise actually worked, because it felt painfully obvious where the pressure was coming from early in the season. Hopefully it's something we can keep building on. Concerning that scheming pressure is the only way to get there but gotta do what you gotta do when you have what we have there.

How much faith do you have in these pressures working against competent qbs? And the fact we keep leaving guys unguarded with some of these blitzes.

What choice do we have? If the guys you have aren't getting there, you have to do something. Unfortunately we have to live and die by it, but the choices and results this week were significantly better than they have been all season, so just have to hope it's a step in the right direction.

Yep, definitely have to try something because we aren't going to get there with the guys we have right now up front. May get burned at times but Orr has no choice. Just have to accept we aren't going to be the shutdown D we are used to,
 
I saw yesterday what I thought was common sense. Our O-line has been struggling and it just appeared that we threw the ball quick and short on purpose.

It just made sense to attack a defense that way especially given the injuries they had. Why wouldn't we do this before? We have so much speed and players everywhere to play different ways every Sunday if need be.

I am glad they figured out that Keaton has wheels and you can ran him away from the line and he can pop some runs. Glad they just figured that out and we've never seen him do it before.
 
Also, Wiggins with another key turnover. If we aren't going to stop guys THEN TURN THE BALL OVER.

Key INT against the Browns and now the Bears

The fact that we ran Henry on first down, and took him off the field for 2nd and 3rd down, never once had Hopkins and likely on the field, and split justice hill out wide with an empty backfield on 2nd down, like how do you explain this decision?

With Huntley on the field you gotta make em think you’re gonna run on every play you possibly can. Empty backfield on 2nd down is just dumb. Our best red zone threats are Henry, Hopkins, and Likely, and we totally removed them from the equation in a key redzone possession, we do it often.

Oh, I'm not commenting on the content at all- more so just saying that it's amusing that certain posters have such a tone about their posts.

This is going way off topic now, but I get so nostalgic for old video games. I have a PS2, but I really wish I had a PS3. I suppose I could buy one, but it'd feel like overkill...

That's all just to say- the PS1/PS2 era games will forever be GOATed for me because of nostalgia.
 
I figured out my one major complaint from yesterday that I forgot to mention... Zay really needs to have some situational awareness. I appreciate that he's always looking for the extra yards but there were a few times yesterday where he needed to get to the sticks and was looking for something bigger and almost fucked it up.

depending on what you want to play, alot of those games are available on the new console.

This… his first move is often backwards when confronted after the catch. Like you said he needs to know when to just move forward to the stick.

Speaking of situational awareness, I think it was Keaton that went out of bounds on our last drive to stop the clock. He’s got to realize he needs to do everything he can to not go out there. DHop went out as well on that drive. I’m not sure he could have stayed in but you could see he was pissed at himself for going out. Between the two it probably gave them 70 or 80 seconds they wouldn’t have had. Didn’t end up hurting us, but could have.

I agree but I was also a little forgiving because he only had a couple yards between the sticks and the out of bounds marker. Getting a first down is obviously the number 1 priority.

I said the same thing, Keaton needed to make contact with a defender and stop progress before going out

I get what you're saying and agree to an extent but didn't people kill Hollywood for not fighting for yards lol
