Next Up: vs Rams

It's tough to get a hold of one, that's the truth. Rebuilding teams with cap space covet them and can pay them 8-15m for a year while a rookie gets ready. This offseason was especially brutal with the Giants and Browns collecting them. The Ravens got what they could in Rush and have been trying to develop one of their own (hence interest in Sanders).

idk that the giants and browns did collect the high-end backups tbh
browns werent interested in any high-end backups and russ doesn't qualify lol

Remember how furious a lot of Ravens fans were about the Rams trading away picks to win the SB? They were 'mortgaging their future' the way the Ravens would be if we gave Lamar a big contract (both debates were happening at the same time.) Not like the smart and sensible Ravens who were building to compete in perpetuity.

I wonder if seeing what they do to us on Sunday will make any of them reflect on some of those Raven fan tenets about how we're always smarter, draft better, and plan better than the rest of the NFL. I hope so, because that assumption of superiority is pretty annoying, especially now, when about 85% of the NFL makes smart, sound decisions most of the time. The real reason why we've been good lately is Lamar - not some kind of inate organisational genius.
And the Rams did in fact win a Super Bowl, we beat the Texans in the playoffs

Steelers drop to the Browns tomorrow and it's still a ball game
Browns almost always do some stupid shit in PIT. Their defense will keep it close until their offense makes a mistake. From there, PIT will score a TD to make it a 2-possession game and be in full control for the remainder of the game. It typically goes this way.

I was fortunate enough to get to watch Matt Schaub and Jimmy Clausen play live football in front of my very own eyes. Cooper Rush should feel honored to join such an esteemed group on individuals, just as I feel honored to watch him play live.

Same.

Ugh

I literally just saw a stat and their last regular season win in Pittsburgh is Couch in 99. Of course Baker did it in the playoffs, they proceeded to run his ass out of town

Same.

Ugh
