Next Up: vs Texans

For the first time in many many years , I’m not excited about an upcoming Ravens game.

I’m very sad to say this , a little embarrassed.

Unlike Kyle’s comments about the fans, which he did apologize for , this Ravens team owes its fans BIG TIME.
Bet $1,000 on the Ravens and you’ll be excited again

Well if there's anything we can take from last night's game is no number of injuries should stop a team playing with heart. It's one thing to simply being overpowered and outmatched, but it's another thing to play without heart.

But then again, for those who watched our dreadful 2015 season, we were basically in every game but we severely lacked playmakers with those injuries.

CMac, the Great Equalizer.

Maybe The King can do similar.

Secondary could legitimately be...

CB: Wiggins, Jaire, Tampa, Martin
S: Starks, Kane, Lowery

And probably one or two of Amani Oruwariye, Marquise Robinson, and Keondre Jackson

So it looks like:
Lamar
Ricard
Roquan
Marlon
Awuzie
Hamilton

Those are six injured scratches. Assuming nobody goes on IR, won't see many healthy inactives.
Looks like your 9th OL is probably your only healthy inactive, and that assumes Stanley is actually healthy enough to play and not exit quickly like last week.

Going to need at least 1 IR move and that'll likely be Ricard.

Could legit be your 48 for Sunday...

QB (2): Rush, Huntley
RB (4): Henry, Hill, Ali, Mitchell
WR (6): Flowers, Bateman, Hopkins, Wallace, Walker, Wester
TE (4): Andrews, Likely, Kolar, Mitchell-Paden
OL (8): Stanley, Vorhees, Linderbaum, Faalele, Rosengarten, Noteboom, Bullock, Cleveland/Vinson
DL (5): Jones, Jenkins, Peebles, Urban, Okoye/Tupou/Bryan
OLB (4): Van Noy, Green, Robinson, Ojabo
ILB (4): Buchanan, Simpson, Hummel, Higgins
CB (5): Wiggins, Alexander, Tampa, Martin, Oruwariye/Robinson
S (3): Starks, Kane, Lowery
ST (3): Loop, Stout, Moore

Questions are...
- how injured are these guys? Ricard to IR seems like it's happening, but are you shelving any of your other star players for that long in order to get another body (K. Jackson at S?) to the roster or do you just run light and pray?
- and in relation, are there any guys they let play without much practice simply because they need them to?

Either way, you're going to need to add QB, DL, and at least one DB.

What happened to Ricard anyway?

Calf strain. Was rehabbing it early this season and had a setback. Sounds like even with the setback, both sides expected him to be back by now but he just hasn't felt right.

Five officially out: Lamar, Roquan, Marlon, Awuzie and Ricard
Hamilton, Oweh and Stanley questionable.

Wiggins and Linderbaum are good to go. As are Van Noy and Jones. So at least some reinforcements coming on the defensive front.
