The Turnovers, the Offense and the Running Game

I couldn't watch the first 3 quarters.
So talk amongst yourselves.

4th quarter was pretty eventful though...

I don't know if there's another non-QB on the roster with more on their shoulders than Tyler Linderbaum. If he has a middling performance, or even dares to struggle, our running game is immediately in jeopardy. Our guard duo just does not seem likely to make up the difference in such scenarios. Thankfully our defense was lights out, and everything else around the rushing attack made it a luxury.

I figured the offense was going to start slowly this game since the browns have a good defense. But holy shit our o-line played like garbage today, Lamar was under constant pressure and where the fuck were the running lanes? Also pissed with Marlo for making both mistakes that allowed the browns to score non-garbage time points

Offense looked like what I thought it was gonna look like: running game wasn't gonna do much because our OL got their asses whooped. Can't really blame Henry if he's getting met in the backfield once he gets the ball. Andrews, I don't know what to say. Zay was fantastic and D-Hop's performance is EXACTLY what we brought him on. I don't know what tf is up with Bateman. Let's go Tez Walker though!

Defensively, they obviously looked better from last week but that ain't saying much. Fuck you Marvin for not catching that gimme INT. Thought the run defense looked good. I don't recall them breaking any long runs. Nice of Wiggins to actually catch an INT.

Special teams was a mixed bag. Wester had a nice return. Been awhile since we've blocked a punt, but nice of us to capitalize on it by scoring a TD. I'm gonna be a little patient with Loop with his kickoffs, but I'm gonna quickly lose that patience if these penalties continue.

These divisional games against the Browns are always messy and difficult. Hanging 40+ on their heads, and answering in the second half with a 4th down TD, an aggressive passing offense and turnovers? Could not ask for much more than that.

Humphrey Sucked
Andrews Sucked
Loop Sucked
Linderbaum Sucked
Henry (fumble ) Sucked
Great way to frame a 24 point win. lol

Browns D is the real deal, and a division game that was always going to be tough. D showed up and showed out.
On to a long(ish) break for a Monday night match up with the Lions who put up a 50 burger on the Bears today. Should be a good one.

Not a whole lot to say... we got the win and that's all that matters. Still a whole lot to clean up as the season goes on.

Gotta figure out the kickoff situation because oof

But otherwise, felt like it was a pretty solid overall game. Struggled a bit in the first half but turned it on late and it was clear that there was a pretty heavy talent disparity between the teams.

Also, if someone bet on Tylan Wallace and Tez Walker to account for 3 receiving touchdowns today, share the secret codes and the wealth because that’s unexpected lol
