Naw im not worried! Theyre good but if they have to win like how they just did sunday night, its not gonna happen. Our defense will 100% get better and our offense will be our offense long as we got lamar. We be ight

I also wouldn’t be surprised if their divisional opponents stole some wins. Jets specifically could do it. Vrabel is now running the show in NE and he could also beat them as well, depending. We will see what happens

I have 3-4 significant negative plays within 15 minutes, at the end of the hour and a half All-22 roll that directly impacted the drives. Most were Vorhees with the other being Rosengarten. Was really hoping that terrific preseason for Vorhees would immediately parlay into a quality start. Obviously time to turn this around. But I cannot help to worry that our OGs will be the sorest points of the OL like they were last season.

I’m surprised Rosengarten hasn’t been criticized. He was outright bad in the game. It was likely his worst game easily yet as a pro. I didn’t see Vorhees much because I was busy watching Rosengarten.

Yep agreed. I’m not overly worried about Roger - there were still some really good reps in there but the bad were bad.

Vorhees was the biggest problem. A lot of effort but not a lot of results from him.

I say all this and we still put up 40 points and almost 450 yards of offense, so bad is subjective. It’s clear we can win with these guys but it also feels like they have the potential to be the undoing in critical moments.

That bad? I didn’t watch. I’ll take your word on it. That’s a shame because not sure the Dolphins will do much either but they’re a wild card.

Rosengarten was the worst performer and I don't think that type of performance is going to happen often. I think he'll play much better as the season goes on.

Vorhees came back down to Earth and I'm with you, I'm concerned about him and Faalele. I think they're going to really be an issue. I think Lamar last year masked a lot of the offensive lines deficiencies and I think that's going to happen again this year. OG is just a patchwork honestly. They moved a guy who originially was a tackle who is too big to play the guard position without the athleticism and the other who is a 7th round pick who dropped in the draft due to a torn ACL. You get what you paid for. Its a gamble that I don't think is going to pay off. At some point they're going to need to take the position more seriously.

Idk if it was because gonzalez was out or what but man everyone was wide open for raiders. It wasnt all that bad but i thought pats would contain raiders offense better
 
I'm not a big fan of creating B-roll footage. There are too many analysts farming negative reviews. But for educational purposes and amongst my own kind, I feel like I'd share some of the gaffs that plagued our last 3 drives, which were a 3-and-out, a lost fumble, and another 3-and-out. Here they are in order:


2nd and 7: -1 yard gain, TFL by 2-T DaQuan Jones.

Summary: Matt Milano stalls Derrick Henry with a run blitz against Zaire Mitchell-Paden, but the play is fully nullified when Andrew Voorhees is shed by Jones.



1st and 10: -3 yard gain, TFL by 3-T Ed Oliver with FF.

Summary: Oliver gets inside of Roger Rosengarten for the forced fumble.



1st and 10: 1 yard gain, tackle by 9-T Gregory Rousseau.

Summary: Vorhees is pushed back by Oliver, closing off the opening in the C-gap.



3rd and 6: 6 yard gain, tackle by LCB Christian Benford.

Summary: Vorhees has the unenviable task of handling the overload blitz. Attempting to first get a piece of SCB Taron Johnson, Oliver is able come away with a clean QB hit on Lamar Jackson.
 
Few plays are solely on one individual. There are other moving pieces, and we are dealing with what-ifs. But. Seeing Mark Andrews come open on the flat route is sigh-worthy.

And this was the potential gap for Derick Henry if we're able to hold Oliver at bay.
