This feels about right for Kone. I had some other guys above him but I won't beat a dead horse.

I think it feels weird because he's a pure zone CB which is such a stark departure from all of those years drafting man CBs.

Since Chuck Pagano is the secondary coach and his defense generally favored zone coverage more than man it probably makes sense for the team to go after corners with zone coverage ability more this year.

I think it's funny to see the overreactions every year.

General consensus was that this wasn't an amazing draft (NIL pretty much guaranteed this, but should smooth out in future drafts) and that the talent pool was relatively eh across the board as the draft progressed.

Still, people will lose their minds over a fifth round pick anyway when the chances of a fifth round pick doing much are so extremely slim, anyway.

If Green and Starks pan out, as expected, the only thing I'll be upset about is the LG position and potentially DE for the Ravens. Past that, I think the Ravens have good depth across the board.

Knock on wood that they stay healthy, but the Ravens aren't in desperate need of too many starters and I think they did well to address two of the major spots they did need a starter at.

This class is gonna be just like last years. RD1 and RD2 will be slam dunks. The rest of the class you can largely throw in the trash

in year 1...

Tampa and Isaac have a chance to contribute this year
Samac has a chance to develop into a decent backup
Kane is a really good special teamer

It's a deep draft, but it's deep on NFL level role players, not a bunch of stars. There's a good chance some of these guys won't hack it, but there's also a good chance that these guys provide value, even if it's not right off the bat in 2025. Who they are now isn't who they're always going to be.

He was definitely draftable to me. Unsurprisingly, probably takes a lot of projection on how he looks in the NFL. They seem to be aiming for some growth out of a few of these guys which is okay with me when we're talking guys deep down the depth chart anyways.
