From what I’ve heard, DB sounds like the plan, but they also Like Nolen, Harmon, and Grant. Just depends how the board falls, I guesss

Any specific names at DB? My source rattled off like 6 names to me and some sounded like 1st round potential and others 2nd, so I was having trouble weeding through who was realistic there.

Starks is the only name that was mentioned, I’m sure I’ll get more info on Thursday, ironically I’m golfing with my guy before the draft again. Personally I think they are in a weird spot with CB talent at 27, a lot of those corners are fringe 2nd rounders.

im assuming at DB it's guys who are either long gone or guys who aren't worth the pick

That was exactly my take. Starks and Barron (if he's there) are the 2 I heard that make all of the sense in the world. Then he dropped Amos, Thomas, and Revel. I could buy Amos stock there if I had to but the other 2 felt like names that I wouldn't take until our 2nd. Maybe it was trade back scenarios but it just got me thinking a bit.

who would the 2nd rounders be?
for me DB drops off like crazy...

in terms of 2nd round... are we talking azareye'h thomas, shavon revel, benjamin morris... xavier watts, andrew mukuba...

who else are even the other options???

if thomas hadnt tested in the high 4.5s i could buy him as a late 1st rounder given the tape
but he didnt and CB really is a stopwatch position

i love amos but idk if the ravens do too

revel should come at a discount with the injury - also not a perfect prospect

Obviously detailed them above, but adding on... Starks was the only S name he gave me at all. I know they have a list of more that they're interested in but that one has seemingly been under lock and key unless Tyler can coax something out of his source.

I feel the same on all 3. I'm pretty high on Amos. I don't think he'd be BPA at 27 if the board falls as I think it might but I wouldn't complain if they thought highly of him. I like both Thomas and Revel (and think the latter might be higher if I had some testing numbers) but just not at our 1st right now.

on those grounds, based also on the visits and interest they've shown, it feels almost like it's Starks or see you on day 3

I know not a thing about the prospects this year because I watched no games, looked at no mock drafts etc etc. Don't know where the class is stacked and weak.

With that being said, if we walk away Thursday night with a seriously talented

EDGE
CB
S
IOL

I'll be pretty happy. Anyone agree?

I’ve seen the same. I asked my guy when he gave me the Harmon nugget, and all he could confirm that they like him. He had no idea how much or if it was a round 1 possibility.
I like Harmon. I'd be happy with that pick.

It's the DBs I'd be less happy with - nothing to do with the players, it's just that we keep investing heavily in that group and I feel like it's time we gave the lines some attention.

It would be nice to get an Edge but I think I like the DTs and OLine better in our range, unless a good one drops.

Pretty sick that the Oblivion remaster released today to kill these last 2 and a half nights

Now if only I didn’t commit to working in fucking Virginia during the day all week

DLine is there too. 5 needs, 3 premium picks. Tick, tock.

As far as draft needs, Safety seems to be bit lower than EDGe/DLIne/CB/iOL. Kane and Brade both stuck from last year so the need for youth isn't really all that. Sure, take a stud if he's just sitting there, but finding a fill in starter at the back end of the offseason is viable there.
